Agatsuma District Hotels with Balcony

Everything is very nice, especially we are surprised that the Ryokan serves kids' menu with beautiful dishes. The onsen is superb, and not so crowded. We are served by staff who can speak fluent English and it has no difficulty in communication. The Ryokan is a bit far, but it made the stay very peaceful & quiet.

I stay at the new building, my room is one of the biggest in the hotel , almost 1000 sq.ft . Design of the room is very nice , private onsen . Couldn’t ask for more . Dinner and breakfast was also one of the best in Japanese onsen hotel . Will definitely come back .

Great time spent

Traveling with my best friend, we booked a tatami room with half board (dinner and breakfast included). It had two beds within the tatami setup. The room was compact but very clean, and they provided a basket for each of us with a bath towel and toiletries, which was super convenient for taking to the hot springs. The absolute highlight was the two meals – fresh ingredients like Japanese cuisine and the exquisite presentation of French dishes. Absolutely perfect!

The people make the experience - when we needed assistance to charge our car they went above and beyond. Anything we needed, they went above and beyond to help with. The location was beautiful and peaceful and the accommodations comfortable.

This onsen ryokan in Kusatsu has a public bath and rooms with private hot springs. The add-on wagyu beef set was also of good quality. You can also walk to the nearby sister ryokan to use their public bath.

The hotel is a bit of a drive from Karuizawa JR Station, about 35 minutes, and there's a toll fee. However, the scenery along the way is beautiful. Shiraito Falls is about 10 minutes away. The hotel parking lot is ample and very convenient. The hotel rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The hot springs are both indoor and outdoor, with an orange-brown color and a mild odor. Unfortunately, the outdoor hot springs don't allow for a view of the sky. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of options and are delicious. This hotel has a very resort-like feel and I'd definitely return if I had the chance. Very comfy room. Excellent hospitality with friendly stuff eventho their English were not so good. There's a full size indoor basketball court ! Too bad we don't hv time to use it. Need to drive to the hotel. Food excellent japanese food. Love their onsen as well. Both in and outdoor.

A very cost-effective accommodation experience. You must stay here when you come to Karuizawa in winter! It feels like arriving in Europe! I don’t know why I want a TV here? The snow scenery alone is worth the price of admission. I really want to come and stay here every winter~

I stayed with three families! The location is great and the room is pretty clean! Although it is in the mountains, there are about 2 convenience stores about 5 minutes by car, so it is safe even in the event of a chance! It was fun! Thank you!
