"Good place to stay. Spacious room for 3 adults and 2 children. Close to a good beach. Not far from the station. Nice host, drove us to the station when leaving. We used the kitchen and dishes on the 1st floor. We saw that there was a washing machine on the 1st floor, but did not use it and did not clarify whether it could be used by guests. We were there for 8 nights, the room was not cleaned, it did not matter to us. Towels were changed."

AAdam_HKSARI chose to stay in this low-key hotel on the mountain in Atami City. Although I had to take a taxi to get in and out, I actually didn’t want to leave the hotel and my room after checking in. The scenery outside is very beautiful, there is a private onsen in the room, and the hotel services and facilities are impeccable. You can go to the lounge to have a drink, eat snacks and watch the sunset before dinner!
The hotel’s dinner serves Japanese food presented to guests in a French style. The menu can be fine-tuned according to each guest’s taste requirements and will be signed off by the responsible waiter for confirmation! With such serious service, you will definitely be satisfied with breakfast and dinner!
Three days and two nights accommodation, great value for money service and enjoyment!

NNiunaifuzaikafeishangThe room was fantastic, and the private hot spring design was truly unique. The Kaiseki dinner was delicious, and the staff member who provided service in Chinese was very enthusiastic. The hotel is right by the ocean, so you can take a stroll along the coast, enjoying the beautiful sea views and watching the sunrise and sunset. There are also yachts docked nearby. It's within walking distance to Atami's pedestrian street, with a wide variety of restaurants close by. Plus, there's a free shuttle service from Atami Station to the hotel. I really love this hotel and would definitely visit again if I have the chance!

MMC ShiThe hotel is close to the station. Just a few minutes walk. If you like to try the Japanese style hotel with in room dining, this is a good choice with reasonable price.
The hotel staffs are friendly and can speak good English.
The have public spa and also private spa. If you not get used to go public spa or has tattoo can’t go to the public one. You can book a small private spa for 40 minute each time. When booking, check the bath facilities. Because some room does not provide bathing facilities.
I would stay again if I am in Atami.

The view, service, and amenities were all wonderful.
The bathroom in the room was especially large and very nice.
The amenities were all high-quality, and it was fun trying them all out. For this location and price, with a private bathroom in the room, I think it's a great deal!

I think it was because the leftover food was left on the table instead of being cleared away, but I think they should do something about it.

GGuest UserI stayed at this guesthouse in Atami last December and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is quite convenient, as it’s close to Atami Station. There is a short uphill walk to reach the guesthouse, but it’s still manageable.
Overall, I would rate the guesthouse 8/10. The main thing to note is that, as it’s a guesthouse, the bathroom and toilet are shared. There is also an onsen available on-site, though it requires an additional fee (which is not expensive). The onsen operates on a time schedule since it’s shared between male and female guests.
The host was friendly and welcoming. I didn’t really get the chance to use facilities like the dining area or the rooftop, but the dining area has a balcony with a nice sea view, which looked great.
Another big plus is that the guesthouse is within walking distance of Atami Heiwa-dōri Shopping Street, making it very convenient for food and shopping.

All the meals were delicious, and while the main fish and meat dishes were brought to you by staff, if you wanted more you could pick up food from the buffet corner - a style I've never experienced anywhere else, but I thought was great. I was traveling alone, and the style was comfortable for a solo traveler, allowing me to enjoy leisurely meals in the morning and evening. The cold pumpkin soup at dinner was particularly delicious, and I had seconds. I wondered how they managed to create that flavor... It became a memorable taste of my trip.

GGuest UserI didn't have high expectations after looking at the Ctrip score, but many hotels were fully booked that night for the fireworks display, so I came to this hotel. It was actually OK.
The room is not small, the terrace is super large, you can see the sea, but it is blocked by high-voltage wires.
It's not far from Atami Station to the room, 10 minutes away, but you have to walk up the stairs or take an S-shaped road, which is a bit painful to carry a suitcase.
There is no bathroom in the room, only a public bath. There are very few people and it is almost reserved.
When I checked in at around 6:30, there was no one at the front desk. I had to call them to come out. It was a bit strange. And they also stipulated that the door is locked from 11pm to 6am the next day and no one can enter or leave.

GGuest UserI originally planned to go from Shimizu to Nagano, but later I felt that the journey was too tiring so I booked this hotel temporarily.
The number of reviews is actually not usually considered by me.
I was quite hesitant to make the bed myself after seeing the reviews about the taste.
But considering the price and room size of Atami Hotel, I still think this hotel is good value for money.
Actual stay experience:
The sanitary conditions are in line with the expectations of Japanese hotels and are quite clean.
In terms of transportation, it is a bit inconvenient. It is not far from the station, but because of the characteristics of Atami as a mountain city, it is very inconvenient to drag suitcases in the hotel south of Atami. I was exhausted with two suitcases on the first day, especially when I was in a hurry.
The facilities are indeed old, but it's just like that after getting used to it. The small TV is a problem, but moving the table over, it's not bad for the family to watch TV at night. It's a bit troublesome to make the bed yourself, but it's also fun, and it's relatively easy to put on the quilt.
In terms of service, the money I needed to pay was calculated incorrectly at the beginning, and I spent a lot of time at the front desk, and the attitude of the aunt with glasses was not particularly friendly, which is a minus point.
Hot springs are a big plus. Self-service free booking is very convenient. You can scan the QR code to see where there are vacancies and go directly. If it is a day-return hot spring, the booking is very expensive.
Overall, it is a good stay experience. It is like the Japanese apartment in Japanese dramas. The space is also open, and there is a microwave and refrigerator.
It is worth recommending.
