Dalyan Hotels with Balcony

Room 205a room from hell, demanded a move withing half an hour,in fairness got one following morning No room to swing a cat Bed pushed against wall because of lack of room No balcony or access to fresh air because of mosquito netting on window Toilet floor paneling lifting off floor All furnishings falling apart Very small wardrobe the room was depressing. This room and others at the back of the place seemed to be offered to British guests all the time. every day there was someone demanding a room chang after arriving overnight. Hotel animal friendly so dogs everywhere and allowed into restaurant at meal times, lots of cats around, one man sat with his dog at the table every meal, this wasn't advertised Pool dangerous at reception end, on bottom, there's a drain point at the bottom of an 8inch hole in the pool floor if a anyone put their foot in its likely to get stuck and hurt themselves if not seen. Unable to get into or out of the pool if you had mobility problems without assistance, as there is no pool ladder there are steps at one end that are approx 2ft high under water and to reach the first one it's knee high in water before you reach it. My wife couldn't get in or out without my assistance. How did these 2 major safety faults get approved by travel firm inspectors Food advertised by as world wide cuisine in truth just turkish and very little choice the menu was also in Turkish by the door probably because its customer base appeared to be 85% Turkish. There was mouldy bread in basket and milk going off in jug at one occasion. Separation of foods also non existent, cold food was unchilled uncovered, hot food allowed to cool without any heat lamps above in truth most meals were all cold. There was no attempt at controlling flies going onto food except the cook often seen swotting them away was the most they did.

We just arrived back this amazing hotel such a bargain price for the facilities, the rooms were very clean and decorated tastefully and up to date, fridge, tv, good sized wardrobe, lovely shower/WC, air conditioning and morning breakfast.all included, the only feedback I could give would be maybe a kettle but that is a very minor.We had a lovely balcony to sit out on and soak up the atmosphere of the central Dalyan located hotel. The hotel staff and owners were very friendly and welcoming. I am so happy I stayed at this hotel and I highly recommend to any one looking for good value. It is a brand new, different concept hotel that was renovated in 2023 and its rooms are spotlessly clean. Our room was simple, elegant and useful. Since the location is right in the center of Dalyan, we did not need a car during the holiday. Pool, garden and room cleaning are excellent. The open buffet breakfast in the morning is prepared carefully and we liked it very much. In addition, there is a croissant cafe in the garden of the hotel and it is incredibly delicious. We also had a good time by the pool with the cafe's coffees and drinks such as all-natural lemonade and orange juice. I definitely recommend it.

The Arp Dalyan is a 3-star hotel and bed and breakfast in Dalyan, Türkiye. It has 15 rooms and is located 14 km from the D400 highway on a cobblestone street along the Dalyan Boğazı River. It has a breakfast room leading to an open deck/dock overlooking the Lycian Kaunos Rock Graves cut into the cliff across the river (with the best views of any hotel in the city). We saw a large sea-turtle swimming near the deck. The hotel is clean, apparently pretty new, has great views, free Wi-Fi and has an outdoor pool with sun loungers. Rooms are air conditioned with flat-screen TVs (only found two English language stations – one was a Middle East oriented news station and the other was NHK World Japanese station), mini-fridges, tea and coffeemaking facilities, and tiled en-suite bathrooms. Some rooms are large enough to have sofa beds. Like most Turkish hotels, this one is “amenity-lite”. You get shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and towels (including a beach towel on-request). That’s about it – no washcloth or hair conditioner, razor, Q-Tips or any of the other stuff that a major hotel might supply. The owner’s wife doesn’t speak much English, but is knowledgeable and very helpful. The owner speaks English well, but when it comes to giving advice - well, see his wife :-) The hotel has a “tea time” with cake each day at 5PM. The Arp Dalyan Hotel is located 12 km from İztuzu Beach and the owner’s wife arranged for one of the boats from the Dalyan Water Taxi Coop to pick us up along its route from the town center (dock is behind the main mosque) to the beach. The current round-trip (return) fare (2023) is 140TRY (currently about $5.25USD). The boat trip takes about an hour.
