It’s the perfect base in Deeside, with so much right on the doorstep — from the suspension bridge over the River Dee (a fantastic wild swimming spot), to scenic woodland walks, with Ballater just a stone’s throw away. My room was spotless, very comfortable, and had a lovely shower. The thoughtful box of chocolates was such a treat! The continental breakfast was vast in choice, and dinner was delicious - enjoying drinks outside in the sunshine beforehand was bliss. A perfect getaway to relax, unwind, and recharge.
