"Perfect getaway to escape the city. Overall, the hotel is good, but the bathroom is a bit worn down, with broken wall tiles and moldy bathroom tiles in the shower. The service from the staff is top-notch! 5 stars. Overall, it was a good stay."

"Me and my husband booked this hotel for our staycation before Ramadan start. The price offer affordable with our budget since we went there during school holiday and CNY. We choose superior room which located in front of the pool. The resort are huge/big, a bit classic since the room interior quite oldies. I guess it's true this resort was build on 1987~ somewhere. The resorts well maintain, the staff are welcoming, polite, good PR with guests inquiries. The resort have great access to the beach that you may walk from the room/pool/restaurants. They have 2 pools, the one are surround by the villas/superior room and they have pool theme park (small theme park), require to wear the bands (will provide during check-in), the kids definitely enjoyed playing at the pool so do adults too. The other side of theme park pool, the have pool facing the beach and besids the restaurant, and of course their lifeguard always monitor the guests in pool area. There so many type of rooms you may choose in future. Furthermore, their breakfast menus are satisfied to enjoy, staff that always ready to clean up once guest finished their meal. Overall it's very comfy, nice and beautiful resort to choose for staycation/holiday. Definitely will come again in future."

"Came for the beach and it didn't disappoint—pure bliss! 🌊 But fair warning: the floors are super noisy. Every step comes with a loud crack and the whole floor vibrates when people move about. Great for 'healing' outdoors, but not the quietest experience indoors!"

"I came for a family holiday. The chalet is very close to a clean beach. The chalet itself is in good condition and comfortable. For breakfast, I hope the menu can be more varied. God willing, if given the opportunity, I will come back to Royale Chulan for another holiday."

"This was my first time vacationing here, and overall I’m extremely satisfied with the experience. The staff were very polite, warm, and sincere, providing attentive and thoughtful service throughout our stay. The unique beachfront scenery is even more stunning than in the photos. The food was above average, and we ended up having all our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—at the hotel during our stay. We also tried the massage therapy, and I have to say the environment was absolutely amazing—listening to the sound of the waves while enjoying professional massage techniques was a five-star experience. We also went on a Jungle Trial. There are a few spots where clearer directional signage could be added. As a small suggestion for the hotel, you might consider setting up a small shop selling souvenirs,postcards and snacks. Guests can truly relax and spend a leisurely time within the hotel without needing to go anywhere. I would definitely come back again."

"The location of the premise is very strategic and near to the beach. The beach was not crowded and suitable for groups or families. However the premise was not well maintained as from my experience with the unit there’s issue with the sliding doors, windows and TV. Improvements: TV can be upgraded to Smart TV or TV Box, pantry areas quite smelly. Conclusion: I would definitely recommend people to stay here"

"The front desk staff was so nice! Era! That name is so right! They always helped me find the best way to take my kids out! The atmosphere was just my dream resort style! Little monkeys visited every day, and the kids loved it! The beach is also a convenient walk away. The only downside was... we were there during the off-season! We visited the mangroves and fireflies during the day, and then went in at night to see the fireflies. Booking with the front desk staff was much cheaper than booking with the mangrove agency across the street!"
