"I had visited hotel in 2024 when previous owners had it. Although needing some modernisation I couldn’t complain about friendliness of staff, and food was excellent. Generally a good atmosphere in the hotel and dining area. Cleanliness was at an acceptable level However, visiting this month, under new ownership, things have changed. Breakfast was cold snd fried eggs were overcooked. Amenities were poor, having to ask for towels etc Staircases looked as though they’d never seen a vacuum and window sills were very dirty. The bed was, however, comfortable Other guests who were returning guests also expressed disappointment."

"Great meal once again . Have eaten here 3 times this month as friends and dogs have come to see me . Everyone has just loved their meal and desperate to come back . Last night - The meal sitting was run so welll. What a smooth operation I witnessed . Well organised , calm atmosphere. Satisfied diners . The kitchen and waiting team worked so well once again ….. what a fantastic success . The waitresses were all completely efficient and communicating well together and great team work. Well done Seafield Arms . The dining room has been utilised now as it is so busy ….. Very friendly people and lots of folk enjoying the beers and rugby .
