The owner is very kind, I was coming very late night because my train was delayed, he keep checking on me and offer me a free pick up when I'm arrived, and upgrade my room so I can have a good rest. Room is nice, very spacious and nice view

When you look at the pictures, you get the illusion that the hotel is in the middle of the desert, but it's not in the desert. When you go on a camel tour, there's a small desert-like area where you can take photos and local people will come and play music for you without asking, and you'll pay a tip. The tents are pretty clean, I think, but the air conditioner filter cover was off and it was covered in dust!? The air conditioner worked great! You can also drink beer in the restaurant!! Also, I'm not sure if it's just for that day or every day, but there is a water outage at night. You need to fill a bucket with water for the toilet and take a shower early in the day. There was no explanation of this, so it was difficult to use the toilet at night. I guess it's unavoidable in India, but I think this is a normal hotel.

The staff at the front desk was kind and the room was clean and comfortable. It is an inn where you can also get chai at check-in and stay with peace of mind even in Japanese!

Review of winds desert camp overall a good stay in the camp run by hard working folks. Location - about 32km from jaisalmer (jsm) without any camps nearby. Quiet and relaxing. The google maps location is accurate. Taxis will charge around 1500 kms for a one way drop or offer to do a round trip for 2500, which will include a side trip to a deserted town of kuldhar (skippable. The camp itself is not close by to the dunes but on a sandy patch. The dunes are some distance away. Plan your arrival to between 3-4 pm. Before that - nothing much to do; and probably too hot as well (depending on the time of the year. Spend your time in jsm instead. Food - it was quite tasty. They accommodated our vegan food request with a smile. They also have many vegetarian choices as well. Range was quite fine - as you would expect in a desert camp. They might whip you up some custom food if you have specific food requirements. The entertainment (rajasthani music and dance) and in the evening was also quite good and relaxing under open skies. They also serve alcohol (basic choices, and finger foods during the show. The one wrinkle was the tent itself - the one initially assigned to us - 101 was very smelly. They managed to find an alternate - 122, which a bit older, worked out ok. The sheets in the first tent were also stained. So pols inspect and ask for any changes - which they will accommodate with a smile. The ac cooled down the tent within 10 mins on an october evening. They also take you out on a desert safari - a car ride for about 6 kms and then go not the camels for a 10 min walk onto the dunes where you will spend about about 30 mins watching the sunset. This was an amazing experience and the highlight of the trip. Service - mr ban a and his staff do a good job on this front. Good team! all in all a good experience.

The profile says it is close to seam sand dunes but the property is actually very far off from seam and is even before kani village. Although the tents are ok but the real feel pf the desert camping is not that great. The nearby dunes are l overly and untouched which is a pro. The evening function eventually turned out to be a private party for the people know to the performers and without giving a damn about other guests. The food quality is great and the prices considering the resource scarcity is very well placed.

Far from city but we can feel Extraordinary. All of them food are so tasty. My daughter doesn’t eat Indian food. But they made some right meal with bread to her some right meal with bread. And night time I got really experience. We listened wonderful Indian music and watch dance show. And finally we joined with them. of staff are so kind and nice. They have great hospitality. When come to India again I wanna visit again. 始めは退屈そうに思った砂漠での宿泊でしたが、とても充実したひとときでした。スタッフはとても優しく、とてもセーフティーな場所でした。お勧めします。お湯も出ますし、トイレもそれなりに綺麗です。

My stay at the helsinki desert camp was absolutely fabulous, i had such a fun yet relaxing time. All the facilities in the room were great and i must say that hygiene was at its best. I would like to give a special shoutout to all the staff members who were so so helpful, kind and friendly, they made sure i enjoy my stay to the fullest. Would love to visit this camp again very soon!

We stayed at Chokhi Dhani Palace Hotel with family for three nights on 24 Feb and 26-27 Feb 2025. Chokhi Dhani Palace Hotel is located outside Jaisalmer City, a 15-minute drive from Jaisalmer airport, and is easily approachable. The property has a nice ambience with Rajasthani architecture a small garden on two sides of the hotel and a small pool for kids. The interior decoration of the reception and dining room is attractive and good for photography. We stayed in the Royal Room, which was cosy, comfortable, clean, spacious and, elegantly decorated, with tea kettle and water bottles. As we stayed for three nights, and every morning, we found the buffet breakfast was the best one could find in a 4-star hotel. Every day the breakfast menu was changing and one can find something new and the dessert was really tasty. We got buffet dinner on two days and was very good and tasty. It was not very spicy or oily and on one day there was no buffet dinner, so we ordered from the menu, it was tasty. As our booking was for free breakfast, we paid extra for dinner and the cost was very reasonable. At present the Chef of the hotel is Mr Dana Khan. He used to come every day at breakfast and dinner time and ask about the food quality. We always appreciated him for the good quality and taste of the food prepared and the menu. Room service was prompt. In the dining hall, the service staff was good. My suggestion is on the food and transport. Regarding food, we did not find Rajasthani dishes or Thali, if it requires pre-information, the hotel should take it at the time of Check-in. The second suggestion is transport booking. The hotel does not have any transport desk or facility to assist their guests in getting good transport through the hotel.
