"Weekend in Rice Lake. First time staying at Curriers Lakeview Lodge. It was amazing!!! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Room was cozy and exceptional view of Rice Lake from our window and balcony. Breakfast scones (homemade), fruit, and coffee (organic fair trade) and tea was better than any continental breakfast at other chain motels. Campfire by the lake. We will stay there every time we come to Rice Lake!"

"The Gathering Place Resort is a great lake vacation spot. The cabin we stayed in was comfortable and well supplied for our stay. There were chairs and lounge chairs for sitting by the lake and fire pit. We were next to the swimming area and a dock. Readily available were kayaks and walking trails. It all made for a relaxing easy time. We had and needed little interaction with the owners but when we did they were always friendly and helpful. A big bonus during our stay was “Tuesday on the Porch“. It is a weekly show with good live music and tasty dinners. We had a fun evening sitting outside eating, relaxing and dancing. One note, they ask that you arrive between 4 and 6. They really do try to hold to that so plan accordingly. If you are looking for a low"
