Joalah Holiday Park ★★★
"This hotel is highly recommended for the following reasons: 1. Spacious rooms, excellent location, beautiful view, facing the sea; 2. New hotel with good facilities; 3. Superior hotel environment, affordable price, and high cost-performance ratio."
Ingenia Holidays Merry Beach ★★★
"Incredible houses, a beach, and tons of kangaroos wandering around like nothing's wrong. We came for one night and stayed two. We would have stayed longer if we hadn't had other plans."
Wairo Beach Holiday Park ★★★
"Very good, the kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils, including an oven and electric stove. You can go to the nearby town to buy things and cook them. The room is also very nice and big, and there is also a children's room"
BIG4 Tasman Holiday Parks - Racecourse Beach ★★★
"Rude and unwelcoming admin staff!! I made an online booking at 7.10am for an ensuite site…when I arrived at the park mid morning the group of friends we were travelling with advised me the site I had booked was quite a fair distance from them and I need to move closer to them for multiple reasons I apologised to “Di” at the office that I had made a mistake with the site I booked and asked if I could swap to a site closer to the group as it was just myself and my 13 year old daughter staying and I didn’t feel comfortable being that far away from them. “Di” was not empathetic in any way and stated no changes or cancellations within 72 hours as per your booking terms and conditions states. She then went on to say “you booked online and agreed to the terms and conditions so we won’t be refunding the difference or offering a credit “ The timeframe from when I booked online to needing to change was literally a matter of hours. I would have thought from a moral point of view and discretion from staff over a simple mistake would have warranted a refund of the difference which was $100"
Tasman Holiday Parks - Kioloa Beach ★★★
"Have been camping at Kioloa for in excess of 25 years. Since Tasman took over the prices have gone up a huge amount. $50 a night for unpowered camping on Friday and Saturday night. For such a luxury rate I would expect luxury service. The internet only works near the office and the toilets near us have not changed one iota since I first went there, although there has been a very cheap and nasty upgrade to the amenities block near the pool which I find interesting as that is where the cabins are so everyone has their own amenities. No camp kitchen, washing up water in sink near amenities block was tepid to say the least. I would not be able to take a family at those prices. Pretty sure they charged us for the dog but as I did not get the promised email receipt I cannot check. I also received a text offering us a 4th night for about $31 or $32 dollars when the website said pay 3 stay 4. It was cheaper as it was a Monday night. Tasman also own Racecourse Beach next door and I have read similar reviews about it. Luxury price for less than the basics. Pity as it is such a beautiful beach and area, buy only for the wealthy now."
