"Checked in Friday afternoon and the room was ready and easy to find and the hosts were expecting us they were really friendly and had a lot of suggestions on what to do and where to go while staying there. We booked the Superior Cabin Ocean View and I must say the view of the ocean and inlet from the verandah was spectacular. Nice clean room, smelt fresh, all sliding doors and windows were screened and worked perfectly. Kitchen was well kitted out with a full sized fridge and all the cutlery and crockery for up to 6 people. Large table for inside food preparation, double bowl sink and a perfect view from the large kitchen window. Clean crisp and silent air conditioning in the main room that cools the entire cabin. Free WiFi and reception was strong and perfect, nice sized TV with perfect reception. 2 rooms with 4 bunk beds in one room and a double in the other. Plenty of comfortable pillows and the bed was perfect to sleep on. Thanks to the orientation of the cabins, each verandah was private and there was no noise from the other cabins or their vehicles. Beautiful breeze on the verandah that had 4 chairs, small table and clean BBQ. Immediately in front of the verandah was a fire place that was lovely at night, 20kg bags of firewood can be bought onsite for around $20 and the wood was hard and clean making for a nice hot fire that lasted all evening off about 1/2 the bag. Paid $50 for a late check out as we enjoyed a swim in the inlet and explored a few of the walking trails close to the park. So left around 2pm and really enjoyed the time there and will come back again next year around the same time as the bird life was spectacular and there were no insects around."

"The environment and location are excellent. We had close encounters with kangaroos, even seeing them right outside our cabin at times, which made for a magical stay. However, since we arrived by car at 9:30 PM, the front desk was already closed. We hadn't received any email with the key lockbox code, and we had to call, but there was no phone signal. This whole process took a very long time and was a very poor experience."

"The Huailuo Beach Resort Park experience was very pleasant. The characteristic retro theme cabin is very interesting, the cabin is clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete. The wooden plank road leads directly to the beautiful beach, and it is very pleasant to take a walk to watch the sunset. The park swimming pool and amusement facilities are perfect, which is very suitable for family travel. The staff is friendly and parking is convenient. The environment is quiet and comfortable, it is a great place to stay on the East Coast self-driving road, very recommended."

"The new side of the park is nice. The old island where we all stayed is pretty much the forgotten cousin located in the boon docks! The toilets are bloody disgusting, bins over flowing with dirty paper towel and muddy floors and the constant waft of sh!t from the sewage/dump point was almost so bad it scared off the billion cicadas living in the park. I feel for anyone trying to dry their washing as the lines sit directly over the dump point (see photo) 🤢🤮, permiating clothes with poo smell. The lady in the office, I'm assuming her name is Karen, is so blunt and rude - this park really needs to think about who is representing their park when greeting guests. The park itself could be so much better than it is, the kids play area needs to be repaired in lots of spots, some of the play equipment is broken, the sand pit is unusable with barely any sand and sticks all through it, which is dangerous to smaller babies and kids. I wouldn't return here unless we were able to be located in the new area."

"Excellent location and proximity to the beach. Cabin was clean and well maintained. I holidayed with my dog and it was a great park for her. Really loved that there was a dog wash on-site. Lovely relaxing stay. Staff were great."
