"My wife and I and another couple decided to try St. James Social for an evening meal and none of us came away disappointed. By offering three or four entrees, and changing them frequently, the chef's originality and concentration on quality comes through. Two in our party ordered the tenderloin filet, which the chef prepares using the sous vide (soo-VEED) method, and each declared it to be the best tasting tenderloin filet she's ever had. The wine selection is small, but of very high quality. (My glass of malbec was superb.). We'd award four out of four stars for this restaurant."

"Tranquil location a few miles outside of Bayfield. Beautiful rooms! We received a nice welcome late afternoon. Sat outside and read books for a while in the comfy outdoor furniture. Comfortable beds, spacious room with large bath and nice amenities. Highly recommend!"
