Beach Hotels in Axarquia

We were a group of 11. The rooms and reception area were spotlessly clean. The garden is beautiful and a lovely spot to sit and relax with a book. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and let us store our luggage in one of the rooms at the end of our stay.  The location is excellent- a short walk to bars, cafes, restaurants and the beach.  If we return to Nerja we will book again.

Near to the bus station and take around 10minutes to the beach and around5 minutes to supermarket

It was a clean and a nice hotel to stay, only the downside is the breakfast, not varouis and they should offer better options like the croissant was not freash and not tasty.

Overall, the property's standard is higher than I expected😊. The studio is bright and clean, and the centre and beaches are easily accessible.

4 star it wasn’t. No water in fridge. Not everyone drinks tap water. Had to buy from bar. No water fountains. Reception bar etc was very basic. Room service limited and no kettle in room or coffee machine. 😩 I’ve stayed at better 2/3 star and hostels. Spa was limited on facilities and opening times. No jacuzzi? It was no better if not worse than Travel Lodge in UK. Thery are fine but you don’t expect luxury from them. Don’t expect luxury from 4 star but certainly better than what I got. Won’t be back.

Such a nice place to stay at! Location is very convenient. It's 20 mins with car from Malaga Airport and you can also get quick to other beach towns. The area has close by a grocery store, bakery and a bunch of restaurants. Our room was clean and got cleaned and freshened up every day. The staff is kind and helpful. Parking is available and is gated. The only thing we would have loved to have is a small fridge for cold drinks. Can recommend to stay!

Lovely small and friendly hotel in a fantastic location, across the road from the beach and close to great restaurants and nearby shopping.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room is small, but comfortable, the room was also cleaned every other day. The location is perfect, the restaurant downstairs had the best steak I’ve had in a while. It’s also close to balcon de Europa. I’d definitely stay again if I ever visit Nerja again.

The place called the European balcony is in front of you, and the bustling location in the store is the best. Check-in was said to be done by the restaurant until 23 o'clock, but when I arrived, I didn't like ”call here by myself”. (Because there is a restaurant business?) In fact, in order to tell you that it is likely to exceed 23 o'clock on the way, I asked a kind local person to call the contact number instead, but it was not connected at all. When I told it in the translation app, I managed to check in. The room was a cute interior, but there was no comforter and no elevator, so the stairs were tight. There is no amenities or water, and it is a facility to take a shower and sleep.

I am so happy and pleased that we stayed here; I’m really glad we chose this place. Here are my detailed thoughts after our stay: The price was incredibly low compared to nearby hotels and aparthotels, and it offered much more value. After checking in online, your room number and door code are automatically sent to you—it’s fast, practical, and very convenient. The room was amazingly nice, clean, and spacious. The one we stayed in also had a large balcony, which is great for relaxing in the evening if you like. It’s about a 7–8 minute taxi ride to the center. Uber costs around €17 on average, which is pretty much the only downside as commuting back and forth gets a bit pricey. I would strongly recommend renting a car instead, as you can get very good cars for just €10 a day. The nearest beach is Playa de Maro, and we went there every day during our 5-day stay. It’s a maximum 8–9 minute walk and is a beautiful, clean cove. You can rent a sunbed and umbrella together for €6. The beach itself is free, so you can just sit on the sand if you prefer. There’s a café where you can get food and drinks, or you can buy your own supplies from a market. There is a small pool on the top floor of the hotel with views of the surroundings and the sea. We never used it since the sea was more enjoyable for us. If you head into the center of Nerja, you’ll find plenty of restaurants and pubs to enjoy your time. There are 2 or 3 nice restaurants around the hotel. Restaurant Maro (full name: Hogar Y Centro Social Maro) and a casual seafood spot in the side street called Bar El Rincón de la Tapa, where you can eat incredibly delicious, fresh, and cheap fish. The side streets and the surrounding area are lovely. We walked around and found some great spots for photos. The most famous beach in the center of Nerja, Playa Burriana, is about 7–8 minutes away by Uber.
