"Lady at reception was nice but a bit standoffish.
Room was freezing when we arrived.
Although being on the top floor, we were kept awake by the nightclub and people leaving at 4am.
Then when that ended, we were kept awake until 6am with loud, bass music.
When booking the nightclub isn’t stated as being open until 4am.
Really disappointed and not worth the money paid."

"Had a really great experience at The Charm Hotel. We booked the ”King Suite with View” which had an amazing scenic view, especially in the morning with the cool breeze. The environment and room is not only conducive, but is both spacious and clean. Highly recommend travellers who are looking for a safe hotel as my friend and I (both females) felt rather comfortable staying in this hotel. Only advise would be to pack light as there is no lift and we had to climb 2 stories up. Otherwise, everything is close to perfect."

"Nice staff, right next to seafront. Classic British style hotel, as expected, a bit old and stuffy, but good value for local norms."

Great
GGuest UserThe location is excellent, 20 mins walk from Brighton Station, it is along the seaside, very relaxing and all scenic spots are within walking distance e.g. i360, Brighton Palace Pier, Zip Line, Beachside Train.... 1 thing to remind is the view of the standard room there is terrible, NO VIEW at all, it is facing a high wall closely and the window is very dirty, the feeling like being in a confined space or badly in a prison! Though the hotel is old but in good maintenance, the overall decor is elegant.
GGuest UserReally lovely stay, they checked us in a little early and helped with a delivery which was so useful. The room was really nice, comfortable beds.
We even had a warm welcome from one of the locals when we got to the room 😉
Location very convenient but you don’t notice any notice from the station. Easy to walk to all the main spots
LLisaB72I booked for myself and my sister for a night away for our Birthdays.
We had a lovely stay, our room was upgraded and we had a wonderful sea view. We were given a lovely gift which was so kind and thoughtful and really made our stay extra special.
The room was large, with a seating area and a very huge comfy bed.
Everything we needed for a relaxing night away. Robes & Slippers Perfect
Buffet breakfast was very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful.
We shall definitely return.
Thank you so much x
GGuest UserThe room was modern and clean and the staff were friendly but the best bit about this hotel is the location - on the seafront and close to shops bars and restaurants.
The spa area was a bit disappointing, it’s more a leisure centre and very busy when we visited so don’t expect too much relaxation as there are not even loungers to sit/lie on.
We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as there are many great restaurants in Brighton so I cannot comment on the brekkie.
We attended the NYE dinner/dance at the hotel and it was brilliant! Great entertainment, lovely food - a fabulous time had by all and a lovely way to see in 2026!
Brighton in general is a lovely place to visit, lots of bars, restaurants and shops - especially the Lanes which is full of small independents which are just fab!
There’s lots to do and see! We took a short walk from the hotel to the i360 tower. A great way to see Brighton from the sky and we managed to catch it at sunset - so magical! I would definitely recommend!
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, right on Brighton Beach, overlooking the sea. Our room was quite spacious. We opted for a top-floor sea-view room, enjoying the ocean vista directly from our bed. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves, and seagulls were constantly flying past our window. Just behind the hotel, Brighton's main street offers all sorts of supermarkets and restaurants. The room was very clean, breakfast was included, and the service was very friendly.
KKeith FoulgerPositives - on the beach front with lovely views, just a short walk to all the tourist attractions.
Very nice English breakfast.
Staff were polite and efficient.
Lobby areas neat and tidy. Good lunch food.
Negatives. Upstairs hallways and bedrooms are in very poor condition. Peeling wallpaper, dirty sofas, threadbare carpets, scratched paintwork and faded curtains.
Private Parking advertised but still costs £25 a night.
Limited amenities.
GGuest UserFast check in, really nice onsite coffee shop and bar.
Rooms are large, but slightly odd with a window that looks into the sink and shower so you always have and audience if you like it or not.
Two single beds unsecured with two single mattresses to make a superking bed wasn’t ok as we kept having to push the beds back together.
We would stay again, but it is a little bit of an odd room set up.
GGuest UserOn the pricey end of hotels in Brighton, the room very simple and old fashioned.
No real complaints staff are very friendly. Getting the bags to the room is difficulty so I wouldn't recommend to someone with reduced mobility.
But overall great view and nice staff.
GGuest UserThe room was not large, but it felt modern and clean, just like the picture! The location was good, but it was disappointing for a place where 4 people went and paid 80,000 won per person. There was no elevator and the bathroom was shared... ㅠ But I think that date was a bit expensive. I looked up other dates and it was just a little cheaper. I would have been 99% satisfied! The bathroom was clean, but there was no shampoo. They gave us one towel each.
GGuest UserEasy to book via Trip.com, reasonable price for room with ensuite in great location. I liked the decor and the bathroom. Lovely clean fluffy white towels, good wifi, password clearly indicated, useful blackout blind, HOWEVER, the lights were falling out of the ceiling, bedside lamps were sort of attached to the wall, very wobbly and dusty and the bed was cobbled together from two mismatched divans so that there was a downhill slope towards the head end of several inches. I have never seen anything like it. I slept for an hour or two using the pillows to prop me up, but still woke with all the blood gone to my head so I had to sleep upside down on top of the bed. A bed to sleep in is THE basic requirement for a hotel room, so really guys, install an actual bed!!!!!!
