Very Good
AAnonymous UserIt was a decent stay and at off peak for £80 on a Saturday it’s not too bad. It’s a nice area of town and near to everything whilst still being quiet. The key code system as helpful asyou could come and go at any time and no check in process was needed.
The room was a reasonable size but the bathroom was very small and tight. The room gad basic creature comforts like soap, small shower gel/shampoo pots and hot drinks facilities.
The overall cleanliness was fine but the extractor fan in the bathroom was very dusty and the shower could’ve been cleaner with some hairs in it. The bed and key hygiene elements were clean though. The floors were quite thin so you could hear neighbours at times and the room could’ve done with a blackout blind really.
If it was cheap to stay again I’d consider here, but I wouldn’t pay more than I did given the overall experience as some basics were overlooked as mentioned. Hopefully the feedback is constructive.
QQuanqiubutongIf you drive, it is a suitable hotel with large rooms and bathrooms, clean and tidy. Breakfast is also good, semi-self-service, and you need to leave enough time if you are in a hurry. It is located in a seaside complex east of Brighton, with free parking. It is an hour's drive from the Seven Sisters seaside and 2 hours' drive from Heathrow Airport. The Royal Pavilion in the city center is worth seeing.
DDayanggaolianThe hotel is located by the sea. From the train station, it's best to take a bus, as walking is inconvenient due to the numerous hills. The room was tiny, and for an older hotel, the lack of a phone and air conditioning was quite unbearable. Luckily, opening the window provided a cool breeze. I booked well in advance, but was surprised to find the price significantly cheaper when I checked on the day of arrival. Their pricing seems very inconsistent.
ZZhouxiaolaA small hotel very close to the beach, the facilities are average, the room is not big, the wooden stairs, very old-fashioned British residence. Walking to the beach, very close, just a few steps to the beach. Close to the downtown attractions area, you can walk to the King's Pavilion in a few minutes. There are some small streets and alleys around, there are food, drink, supermarkets and small commodity shops. There is a public parking lot at the entrance of the hotel to park along the street, but whether there is a location depends on luck. The hotel's appearance is not special, and the surrounding streets are photographed.
SSisuiPros: great location, minutes from the beach. Decent room size. Friendly receptionist.
Cons: off street parking only, costs over £20 per day and finding a space near the hotel is purely based on luck.
AAnonymous Userthe location is great - near the sea! The weather was great, so we are satisfied. We did not expect more amenities from the hotel, because everything was appropriate for the old city. The owner of the hotel was friendly, even allowed to leave things until the evening. we recommend!
LLimThe location was amazing! we were right in the middle of the action and everything was very convenient. check-in was great, the gentlemen at the from that helped us check in Callum was super polite and very helpful. The staff at the breakfast was fantastic, my girlfriend's a vegan and they made her fresh vegan sausages at no extra cost! The room was clean and very nice, although it would be great to have some complimentary things like bottles of water or toothbrush/paste nevertheless it was an amazing stay!
also the check out was super easy and hassle-free we just dropped off our room card in a box, super convenient especially if you're on a tight schedule.
SSHICHAOThe hotel is centrally located, backed by a business district and a 10-minute walk from Brighton Pier. Good service at the front desk, convenient check-in and check-out. The Travelodge Hotel is relatively simple, but it is neat and tidy. There is nothing to be nitpicking in general.
GGuest UserThe staff is amazing from a to z, also bed linens and towels are clean like new. The mattress was very comfortable and good quality. The breakfast was very basic English with filtered coffee. But the building is almost falling apart which is a shame. It takes 15-20 minutes in bus A5 or 5 for £3 one way, which is quite handy. The free parking is fairly good and also handy. The cost for a double room was £175 and I believe that was way higher than it should. All I’m saying is that if I would have known, I could get a much nicer hotel for that amount.
