This trip to Beijing was for Jay Chou's concert. Heading north, I invited my 10-year-old daughter to revisit the year 2000 with me, sharing the joys of my youth with my little one. The day before, we stayed at Universal. We arrived at the hotel exactly at noon, planning to check in and then just wander around while waiting for our room. But Julia Gao immediately told me a room was ready for immediate check-in, and it was on the 16th floor with a view of the Bird's Nest! That was fantastic! We went straight to the room to rest before the concert. After the concert on Saturday, we walked back from the Bird's Nest in the heavy rain, and it only took a few minutes. We showered, and there was still traffic downstairs. Today, I received a notification from Julia that I had left my electric kettle cord behind, and she's helping me mail it home. It was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The InterContinental Hotel boasts excellent smart amenities and comfortable bedding that truly helps to alleviate travel fatigue from business trips. The front desk staff, especially Aria and Dale from Guest Relations, are highly efficient with check-ins and check-outs, and the concierge is very helpful with travel arrangements. The executive lounge is perfect for small meetings, and the breakfast offers a good selection of drinks and light meals. The gym and pool are great for unwinding between work commitments. The service is professional and discreet, never intrusive, and the facilities are well-maintained. It's a consistently top choice for business travelers, highly recommended.
