Front desk staff Cecilia provided excellent service; she was very enthusiastic and followed up throughout my stay, promptly resolving any issues. The hotel room was very clean and tidy, and the views were great. Any requests I had were accommodated efficiently. Also, front desk staff Selina gave me water and helped with my luggage when I checked out, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great experience. My only suggestion is that it would be helpful if housekeeping could provide hair ties, as it can be quite inconvenient if you forget to bring one.

This hotel truly lives up to its long-standing five-star reputation! The front desk staff was incredibly professional and efficient. They even upgraded me to a newly renovated Executive King room and thoughtfully mentioned that there might be a slight renovation smell. Honestly, it just smelled like new wood from freshly built cabinets, not an overpowering or unpleasant 'renovation' smell at all. Plus, the design and color scheme of the newly renovated room are absolutely fantastic!

The hotel uses “horses” as its central design element, extending this theme into a series of spatial aesthetics. For instance, you'll find various horse riding accessories in the elevator lobbies, and the chairs in the guest rooms are designed to resemble saddles. The writing desks feature a Chinese chess board pattern as their base, while the bathroom decor incorporates Western chess pieces. During breakfast, the restaurant staff, noticing I was dining alone, thoughtfully placed an “I am still dining” sign on my table to prevent the cleaning staff from accidentally clearing my plate and cup. What truly impressed me, however, happened on the night of my check-in. I suddenly developed a stomachache. After ordering stomach medicine via a delivery platform, I called concierge, hoping they could arrange for a robot to deliver it to my room as soon as it arrived. Unexpectedly, the concierge on duty that night, upon learning of my condition, personally rushed the medicine to my room via elevator, saving precious time for my recovery. The next morning, Mr. Napoleon Fang, the hotel's Front Office Manager, along with a colleague, knocked on my door to check in. He not only inquired empathetically about my stomachache but also enthusiastically recommended the various light dishes available at the “R.E.N. Cafe” on the second floor. This gesture was truly memorable! In summary, the Dongsheng Renaissance is an exceptional high-end hotel in northern Beijing.
