This is my second time at Renaissance Yu Garden, and it truly is the best value for money near the Bund. It's a solid international five-star hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff are all incredibly polite. The breakfast is excellent. Plus, there are cute robots that help with service! 😄😄😄

In a city like Shanghai, where hotels are very expensive, I would definitely choose to stay here again next time. It's mostly international guests here, and Yu Garden is right next door. The metro station is just out front, making it super convenient to get to both the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This was my third stay here, and since my previous two experiences were good, I decided to come back again.

The hotel is conveniently located near Zhongshan Park Station, Exit 5, which serves Metro Lines 2, 3, and 4. The hotel is directly connected to the Dragon Dream shopping mall on the first floor, and Raffles City is less than a five-minute walk away. This prime location makes it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and transportation. Food deliveries are left in a special locker on the first floor, so guests need to pick them up themselves. Alternatively, you can dine at the hotel's own restaurants or opt for room service.

This time, I stayed on the 38th floor. The next morning, around 10 AM, the housekeeping uncle came by to ask if I had any laundry for dry cleaning. I didn't, so I asked him to clean my room. He was very diligent; I just told him what I needed restocked, and he made sure to provide it, and he cleaned the room exactly as I requested. I really appreciate his excellent service.

The hotel beds, especially the pillows, are very comfortable. I have back and neck issues, but I slept soundly for two nights with no discomfort. As for the subway, it generally stops around 11 PM and resumes service around 6 AM. I'm a light sleeper who often needs sleeping pills, but I didn't find the noise level too bothersome; it was acceptable. The hotel hallways are also very quiet and clean, with no noise from other guests. The elevators are always readily available, so no major issues there. Being on a high floor, the room offered expansive views, and I was able to capture some beautiful night photos from my room (see the last 4 pictures).

My only minor complaints were that check-in was a bit slow. Around 3 PM, there was a long line at the front desk. The lady explained it was due to a slow computer system. Also, the bathroom door in my room wouldn't close completely, always leaving a gap (see the fifth picture), so I had to angle the showerhead carefully when showering. The 'Do Not Disturb' button seemed to be linked to the lights (see the fourth picture); I was worried that if I pressed it, the lights would turn on, and it might be misunderstood as a 'Do Not Disturb' signal, preventing housekeeping from entering. Lastly, on my previous two stays, I was allowed a 2 PM late check-out, but this time I was only allowed until 12 PM. This might be due to high occupancy.

Overall, despite a few minor points, my multiple stays have been quite good, and I would definitely consider coming back again.

Stayed at the Renaissance for my child's exam. Upon check-in, they thoughtfully upgraded us to a larger, quieter room, which was very considerate. For dinner, we mentioned my child's severe allergies to fish and shrimp, and the Chinese restaurant on the second floor kindly swapped out dishes (even though the set menu usually doesn't allow substitutions). Huge thanks to the hotel for their thoughtful and meticulous arrangements! 🙏 Plus, a robot even delivered water, which was a nice touch.

The Renaissance is another excellent hotel with lots of value for the money. Do no ve misled when you read that the Executive Floor is temporarily closed. It has been closed since Covid and probably will not open. I suspect due to cost reduction. The employees rarely change, lucky for us they are very good and you can count on them for excellent service Cici and George will greet you and the fun start there. Their breakfast is one of the best Dick, Bonnie and Leslie will take care of you. The evening meal, which took the place for the executive lounge is so so. The salad offered is only lettuce. Another point for improvement is the jacuzzi, it is luke warm. But the pool and gym are very good with excellent employees. I would highly recommend it.

I saw the recommendations for brunch and decided to try it – it was absolutely delicious, especially the bacon and potato pizza, which had a generous amount of cheese. The pork cheek dish looked unassuming but had an excellent texture when I tried it; I ate so much!

**Facilities**: Very good. The shower pressure was stable and the water heated up quickly. There was also a small coffee machine in the room. The hotel lobby was beautiful, and the fragrance smelled lovely.

**Hygiene**: The room was very clean, as were the bathroom and the bed. Cleanliness is what I value most in accommodation, so I had no worries here.

**Environment**: Excellent. The complimentary fruit platter was very generous, and the pastries were delicious. The minibar was super well-stocked, and the first round was free. Enjoying it while watching TV in the evening was fantastic.

**Service**: Lynable at the front desk was very enthusiastic during check-in and processed everything quickly – a definite thumbs-up. Thanks to Carina for her help when I went downstairs to grab something. The staff were all very friendly and responded quickly. It was a very pleasant trip, and I'll definitely come back!

Everything about this hotel was great, especially the service. The staff were perfectly placed; just a wave in the lobby and someone would immediately come to assist. The breakfast was thoughtfully arranged with a private booth, and the manager was very kind, even helping to lift the curtain for us. We were traveling with family for the May Day holiday and forgot our razor and toothbrushes. They proactively provided toiletries, which were quite good, especially the razor – it was really sharp, unlike the dull ones at some other hotels. Overall, I was very satisfied. I would have been even happier if breakfast had been complimentary, as my child didn't eat much anyway.

this is my second time stayed in this property, and unlucky for this two times stayed I had to experienced false fire alarm in the midnight that very annoying. You couldn’t back to sleep again after the disturb and cannot rest well. please fix your fire alarm.

The front desk lady that checked us in was super nice and understanding. She allowed us to check in early which was really appreciated since we flew in from CA and with the time different and able to rest for a bit in the room before we start our day was the best ever.

I booked this hotel because of a last-minute need, and it was quite good. It's quiet despite being in a busy area, the room was clean and comfortable, and all the facilities were complete. They even gave me a 25 RMB breakfast voucher. The free luggage storage service was also excellent.

It was absolutely brilliant at Renaissance New York Chelsea from the beginning to the end of our stay.

The reception staff arranged a room with amazing view per our request and explained well for everything the hotel could offer.

Room is morden, chic, spacious with great amenities and friendly housekeeping staff.

Breakfast was buffet style which was better than we expected and the hotel provides bottled water at the lobby throughout the day. 

We would highly recommend it!

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a five-minute walk from Penn station, making it easy to catch the train and also convenient to take the LIRR or subway from JFK. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable, but the room was rather small. Our midtown view room faced 34th Street, and the main problem was the terrible soundproofing. We could hear everything clearly, from the doors of rooms opposite to police cars passing by downstairs. Light sleepers should ask the front desk for a quiet room.

The Executive Lounge on the 17th floor offers a fantastic view of the Forbidden City. Usually open from 6:30 AM to 10 PM, it's the perfect spot to take in the Forbidden City, including sunrises, sunsets, and its nighttime splendor. 

The hotel service is excellent, with staff proactively greeting guests and bellhops readily assisting with luggage. The ladies at the Executive Lounge were also super helpful, even offering tips for taking great photos of the Forbidden City.

The hotel is conveniently located right on Wangfujing Street, directly opposite the Capital Theater. It's incredibly easy to go shopping and dining. After the pandemic, some sections of Wangfujing Street were converted into a pedestrian-only zone, making it truly China's premier 'Golden Street,' bustling with delicious food, fun activities, and a lively atmosphere. In the evenings, Wangfujing transforms into a talent show stage, with people singing and dancing everywhere. It's a vibrant area that still retains a strong sense of local charm.

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the National Art Museum subway station, making it very convenient to access Beijing's core attractions like Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Qianmen, Temple of Heaven, Jingshan Park, Shichahai, and Nanluoguxiang. There's also a designated parking spot for shared bikes right outside the hotel.

Huge thanks to Changjiu, the doorman! He greeted me when I arrived and was there again when I checked out. He was incredibly enthusiastic, proactively helping me with my luggage, opening car doors, and guiding me. His smile was truly infectious. It was a bit disappointing that the Executive Lounge was temporarily moved to the fourth floor this time; due to the space constraints, the happy hour food selection was smaller than usual. However, the all-day dining restaurant's breakfast was excellent as always, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients, and I especially loved the freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. I booked an Executive Room, but was quite surprised there were no welcome fruits – last time, not only did they send fruit, but they also gave me a teddy bear since they saw I had a child with me.

Returned to the Renaissance Beijing Zhongguancun, and this time I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade. The view was fantastic, and my sleep quality definitely improved. The breakfast was as abundant as ever, and my stay was just as great. Big thanks to Dora at the front desk for her excellent service. I'll definitely be back!
