"The room is spacious, with a view of the road & Tanjung Pendam beach (executive suite), there is a bathtub, the room is clean, it's just that the fragrance is lacking, the AC is very cold, there are many room facilities, a mini fridge, a fairly large 43-inch TV with YouTube, Disadvantages: the motorbike parking is hot, I saw there was no canopy & my car was also hot, because only a few had a canopy."

Because the room type I booked wasn't available, I was downgraded, and they only provided drinks and snacks in the mini-fridge for one day. The fruit plate that was taken away was left outside my door for a long time and wasn't picked up, and some towels weren't replaced."

"Our 5 night stay at Arumdalu resort was truly memorable. This small, boutique resort is tucked away on a private beach adjacent to a nature reserve, making it a very pretty setting. Our villa was was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, with good facilities. The private pool was a good temperature and large enough to do a little swimming. The thing that makes the resort are the staff. They are all extremely helpful and can't do enough for you. The chefs are amazing and the food is well prepared, and very tasty - actually the best food of our Indonesian trip. We were spoilt, as our stay coincided with the end of the high season, and so the property only had a few guests in its 11 villas, and so they had the time to go above and beyond. This included a very special dinner in the gardens and a magnificent picnic breakfast on our last day, which was a complete surprise. There are some challenges faced by the team, as I suspect COVID hit them hard and some of the villas were not being used. There was also a constant battle to keep the beach clear of detritus, but this is not their fault, simply a wider issue with the amount of rubbish that gets dumped in our oceans. This is an eco-resort and so there are not teams out everyday with foggers to kill mosquitoes etc and so be prepared for a back to nature experience, however, nothing can detract from the care and attention provided by the staff, the excellent villas and beautiful location. Well worth a visit"

We were also able to rent scooters from the host on a good price. Pool was for children but that didn’t bother us because beach was near by and easily accessed with scooters."

"Pleasant hotel with good value for money. The location is a bit far from the city center in Tanjung Pandan (~30 km) so I had to drive quite far to find more food options (on the other hand it’s only a 10 min drive from Belitung’s top beach at Tanjung Kelayang). Nevertheless, the area around the hotel is pretty nice with good beaches abundant (despite my visit being in December when the water is less pristine) and virtually no traffic. While the room cleanliness is acceptable, for a hotel opened in 2017 I got the impression that many spots of the hotel are a bit rundown and in need of renovation/touch ups. The facilities of the hotel are quite limited (the pool is rather small & boring, the gym is very small with few equipment, the restaurant & spa personally I found not very inviting) so I find the hotel too boring for a staycation. Despite carrying the Santika Premiere brand I also find the amenities/breakfast options to be less than other Santika Premieres I’ve stayed at. I think it’s a good option for people who want to escape the crowd, and looking for an affordable hotel with okay facilities for resting after a day out exploring the attractions Belitung has to offer"

"Credit to all the staff at the hotel—it was truly a pleasure to stay here. It’s wonderful to see genuine smiles and feel the warmth from every single person in the property. This was our first trip and also our honeymoon, which made the experience even more special. On our first day, we woke up early morning to heavy rain and strong winds, which was quite scary. We called the receptionist, and they kindly reassured us that everything was fine. Later at breakfast, Ms. Rhesa (the supervisor, I believe) approached us, checked on how we were doing, and asked if we needed anything. She also gave us helpful recommendations on places to visit around the city. Mr. Adam was also very kind and shared great suggestions for attractions. I would also like to mention Kristin and her colleagues for the wonderful greeting we received upon our arrival at night—it made us feel very welcomed from the first moment. Special thanks as well to Nora, one of the waiters, for taking great care of us on our last day. Thank you for the warm welcome and excellent hospitality.
