"Taj hotel was good but trip.com experience was very bad they did not pay for my reservation to Taj hotel and I had to pay again when I checked out and when I asked why it wasn’t paid they gave me a run around will never use this app again just warning people be careful"

"Stayed four nights. Neat, clean rooms five-minute walk to Benaulim Beach. Pleasant retreat with beautiful foliage, paintings, swimming pool. My wife and I had a room with a bathtub and an outside, private garden with bench. Breakfast was good and room service prompt. Food was good, although much of the time we ate at one of the nearby beach shacks. Room service was very good; when we had some issue with plumbing the staff replied immediately and when the issue returned a team came and the issue was resolved permanently. We highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, attentive staff and proximity to the beach."

"We stayed three nights and were quite pleased. The rooms were spacious, with a balcony. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food to suit every taste. The breakfasts were Indian, so we weren't hungry. The staff were great. The pool was spacious and clean. The beach was a 10-minute walk away."

"We stayed at Beira Mar Feb/March 2026 for 3 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The chalets are a little tired and would benefit from some modernisation but they were very clean and comfortable. The gardens are lovely and well tended. The staff are fantastic with nothing too much trouble for them. We had 2 invasions of flying ants and the staff took instant action when we reported this and after the second one they moved us to a different chalet. They then proceeded to immediately clear out the old chalet, sort the problem out and completely reseal and decorate it. The breakfast is fine but tends to cater for the Indian pallet, again staff were brilliant when asked for omelettes etc. The pool is fine but would benefit from some umbrellas over the sunbeds and towels supplied were clean and easily available. It can be a little noisy at night due to locals playing loud music in the adjacent car park but that didn’t bother us too much. There are a number of beach shacks within 5 minutes walk to the beach with good food and drink, some being better than others Valonia’s being our stand out favourite. Overall a great place to stay and a great location."
