Brittany Motel
Hampton Inn & Suites Manchester
"The hotel is located in Manchester Center, opposite a big supermarket and a city bus station, and the delicious Seasons. There are cafes, brunch shops and ice cream shops next to it. There are also gas stations and various shops not far away. The location is excellent and the scenery is beautiful. The room is spacious and comfortable, but the window is a little small. The breakfast is average. It would be better if it could be richer. The coffee machine in the room is not easy to use. Fortunately, there is coffee, hot water and drinking water available in the hotel lobby at any time, and there are ice machines in the elevators on each floor. In short, the experience of staying here is not bad."
Hotel Vervana, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
"very nice place. My major gripe is with Trip.com. They said there was breakfast offered, and I paid extra for that. The owner said they haven't had breakfast for a LONG time. So I got ripped off by Trip.com by paying extra for a service that was not even included."
Hampton Inn Bennington
"We have stayed here three times and we are very satisfied"
New Englander Inn Bennington
"This is a motel located on the roadside. It is a bit noisy at night. Check-in and check-out are very convenient. It is basically self-service. The room is very spacious. The sound of the toilet is a bit scary. The breakfast is simple and filling."
Sun Lodge, an Ascend Collection Hotel
Bennington Motor Inn
"Excellent location-an easy 5 minute walk to the Bennington Museum and downtown. Clean, comfortable room at an affordable price. I would definitely stay again."
Kimpton TACONIC HOTEL by IHG
"Nice hotel. Service is good too. The mountain view from the room is nice and highly recommend."

Hill Farm Inn - Manchester
Wilburton Inn
"we went there at night and their daughter was very kind to give us the whole trip of the house and telling us about the pros and cons of a room. we stayed at the main house and took the bridal suite. it was amazing, very large and rooms face the mountain view with many large windows. the best part was the jacuzzi tub inside. loved the bath. but it was bit expensive. we have stayed at other many such places for less price. the grounds also have a pool, tennis court, but we didnt use them since there were lots of bugs. the best part was breakfast. Lan, the chef really makes great breakfast. he can make customized to your needs. it was fun talking to him as well, very jolly. he also suggested us nice places for visit and they sure were worth a trip. the main house is good to see. the museum of creative process sculptures can also be seen all over the grounds. at the back of the inn, they do have some tables to just relax watching the mountains. but make sure to take bug spray.overall we had a nice time."
Stanford House
"I can’t speak to the interior because I never made it past the front desk. I had a weekend reservation for 12/5–12/7. I booked via email and spoke with Antonius on the phone to give him my cc to confirm the reservation. At that time I requested early check-in; he asked me to confirm closer to the date. On 12/4, I requested a 1:00–1:30 p.m. check-in, but was told no check-in before 4:00 p.m. Since it’s off-season and a small hotel, I said I would try to be there around 4 but if not I gave my best arrival estimate of around 9:00 p.m. I arrived at 8:30 p.m. to an unattended front desk. I called, texted, and emailed but received no response. After waiting nearly an hour, exhausted, I left and began the nearly two-hour drive home. On the way, Antonius finally called. I explained I was already on the road, did not think I should be charged, and wanted to cancel the entire reservation. He initially resisted and claimed he’d been there, but when I described details in the office (including a “you are on camera” sign with only a loose wire and a car with Quebec plates outside), he acknowledged I had been there and he had not, mumbled what sounded like an apology, and ended the call. Given that the stated, staffed check-in hours were 4:00–9:00 p.m. and I was there at 8:30 p.m. after advising I’d arrive around 9:00 p.m., this was unacceptable. Perhaps it was bad luck, but the attempt to cover for the absence—whether due to sleeping, dinner, or something else—was troubling. I would not book here again and would not recommend it."
Seesaw's Lodge
"We had the best time here. The cabin was so cozy and comfortable. It was perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable and the two living area spaces were fun for game playing and hanging out. The communication from the staff was exceptional. We would come again!"
Four Chimneys Inn
"Stayed in Rm 1! Fabulous! Great gas fireplace, very comfortable bed, comfortable seating and a great Jacuzzi with tea lights and a chandelier. We had 2 nights of good sleep and light filled room in the day. The linens in the bed were wonderfully soft. The owner Kate was so hospitable, accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. An added bonus was having 2 nights in their restaurant with great food, scallops, duck and filet mignon!! And the server, Carlos, was GREAT! So glad we went."
The Inn at Ormsby Hill
The Landgrove
"My husband and I originally planned to dine at another restaurant in the area, but when we discovered it was closed, fate led us to the Landgrove Inn Restaurant—and what a fortunate turn of events that was! Nestled off the beaten path, this charming spot exceeded all expectations. The evening's menu offered an array of tempting options, making it hard to choose. We started with a soup that was perfectly suited for a cold winter's night, followed by the crispy roast duckling, which was simply superb. My husband’s pork chop was equally delicious and expertly prepared. To finish, we indulged in homemade desserts: a creamy panna cotta and a decadent chocolate cake. Chef Chris Strecker worked culinary magic, crafting a meal that was nothing short of marvelous, and our waitress provided exceptional service, adding warmth to the experience. We will undoubtedly return to this hidden gem."
The Olympia Lodge
The Palmer House Resort, Ascend Hotel Collection
North Shire Lodge
"Best kept secret in the Manchester, VT area! My wife and I spent 2 nights on Labor Day weekend at Northshire Lodge. Rooms were well decorated and clean. Mountain view from small deck off the room was great. The double bed was comfortable. Stacy and Brad also provide a hot breakfast option that was delicious. Easy parking in front of the room door. Will plan to stay again when traveling to that part of Vermont."
Bromley View Inn
The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa
"Cleaning is quite general. The front desk staff is relatively indifferent. It is more convenient to have a restaurant to eat, but overall the facilities are poorly maintained. The gym is very humid and has to be dehumidified with an exhaust fan. The sauna room we had in the past few days was all bad."
