"Let me break down my review into four key aspects: **Location:** Just a few minutes (and 300 rupees by tuk-tuk) from Beruwala, making it perfect for gem shopping. **Environment:** A peaceful room with a sea view. The neighboring hotels are also great, offering beaches, bars, and pools. **Service:** As expected in the 'Land of Smiles,' the staff here are incredibly friendly. Our room was cleaned daily and kept spotless. **Food:** Breakfast was very good. Overall, excellent value for money with a very affordable price. Nice!"

"The hygiene was really good. They did a great job preparing the room before I checked in. Typically, places near the seaside can get a bit damp, but they had already taken care of it by the time I arrived, which I really appreciated. That attention to detail is definitely commendable! 👍"

"I had a pleasant stay at Cinnamon Bay Beruwala. The positive aspects include excellent service, starting from the warm welcome with a towel and juice at check-in, continuing throughout our stay until check-out. All the staff were friendly, kids activity center is a plus and the surroundings were very spacious and pleasant. The rooms were good, and I would definitely recommend their service, giving it a double thumbs up. On the downside, the reading light was broken, there were no bathroom slippers or robes, and the shampoo, lotion, and conditioner bottles were made of ceramic. If these ceramic bottles break, they could cause injury. I suggest that the hotel switch to safer materials for these items. Overall, I would rate our stay 3.8 out of 5. We really enjoyed our time there. If you're looking for excellent service in Beruwala, don't hesitate to book this hotel."

"We went to this Resort for one night and there was more than 20 in our family. so we booked a few rooms. The rooms were very spacious, clean and well organized. The Pool is just great which is adjoining the restaurant. The children enjoyed most of the time playing in the pool and the spacious garden. Apart from that as a plus we had the option of the beach as well. It is a perfect combination. Also I must mention the staff and the customer service...which is one of the best I have come across in my life. You may find basic customer service everywhere but you will not find "Customer Service added with Empathy" and that is what you get here. All in all great place, great environment, great staff and we thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely visit again !!!"
Heritance Ayurveda - All Meals and Treatments
"This was my first experience of Ayurveda. I booked directly with the hotel and received very prompt responses to any queries I had. I stayed for a week, in a very nice suite with a lovely sea view. All the staff are fantastic, from the guard at the gate, to the reception staff, the waiting staff, the people who service the rooms and of course the Ayurveda Centre staff. It’s a very peaceful place to stay. The pool area is lovely, the grounds are lush and it’s right beside the beach with soft golden sands. It’s also a short tuk tuk ride from a main train station on the Colombo to Galle line, which is handy if you don’t have your own transport and want to venture out to explore. I was a little disappointed with the food. Every meal is a buffet and I found it rather bland - although I do appreciate that the focus is on healthy eating not gourmet style!"

"Sumal Villa is an amazing calm place with very comfortable rooms (either AC oder Fan). We slept very well. It‘s run by a very kind and helpful family. The older lady told us a lot about the history of Sri Lanka, their religion, the situation of the village during corona and the tsunami 2004. We just arrived in Sri Lanka and got to know the people and the country so much better through this kind and interesting conversation. We gonna continue traveling south, but on our way back to Colombo in February we will stay definitely here again ! Thank you for everything :)"

"Holidays are better than in a five-star hotel! A very good-natured, generous owner, a wonderful family where you feel at home. The wife of the owner of the villa is a real culinary wizard who prepares delicious dishes. We are always happy to help with anything. We had the most pleasant experience from our stay in this villa. I recommend to everyone!!!!"

"My stay at this hotel left an extremely positive impression on me. From the welcome, the beautiful clean room with new, beautiful furniture, the stylish interior, the delicious, hearty breakfasts, and the unforgettable beach area, completely private and with a good, safe entrance to the ocean. The hostess at this welcoming hotel speaks English, is always very polite, and knows how to create an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. I also want to mention that when I booked the hotel, I was kindly warned that a private house was being built nearby and there might be some noise, but believe me, I heard nothing for a week. The house is already built and there are just a few construction workers inside finishing something. We've stayed in many hotels, traveling every year, but not all hotels leave such pleasant memories as this one. I remember it with warmth and gratitude."
