"The hotel has a couple of positive aspects. Its central location is very convenient for exploring the area, and the room was warm and clean, which is always a plus. However, these positives were overshadowed by several frustrating issues that need urgent attention. One major problem is the parking. Customers are not told beforehand about the impossible parking situation. The parking is on an extremely tight and narrow street, making it nearly impossible to access unless you have a very tiny car. Many guests, like myself, book thinking parking will be straightforward, only to discover the reality upon arrival. This critical detail should be disclosed upfront to avoid misleading customers. Another issue is accessibility. All the rooms are on higher floors, but there’s no lift. Carrying luggage up multiple flights of stairs was exhausting, and for anyone with mobility challenges, this would be a serious problem. The lack of transparency about this is disappointing and unacceptable. Safety was also a concern. The lights in the room were dangerously flickering on and off without being touched, creating an unsettling and unsafe atmosphere. This should be addressed immediately, as it poses a risk to guests. While the room was clean, it was uncomfortably small, offering barely enough space to move around. The hotel has potential, but the management needs to address these significant flaws. Better communication about parking and accessibility, along with urgent safety repairs and improved room functionality, would make a world of difference. Until then, I cannot recommend staying here."

"We had a one night stay and found the room very comfortable and clean. Great location for wandering around Besancon and close to plenty of restaurants. Parking is a few minutes walk away in the shopping centre underground car park as recommended by the hotel."
