"To escape it's a dump, it's disgusting, it's falling into ruin, there's nothing wrong, cardboard insulation we hear everything, even the windows are not insulated we can hear people talking outside, it's is dilapidated, the mattress placed on a wooden board, marks all over the walls, disgusting shared toilets and shower, to leak or burn but certainly not to sleep there (I pity the receptionist who is great but that kindness will not save this slum)"

"I have stayed in this hotel three times for work trips, and always a good place to stay. It's located in the historic heart of Besançon and close to the many restaurants and shops there. I really appreciated that the windows block the sound of the street pretty well and that my room on the top floor had air conditioning. Parking is in a public garage about a 3-5 minute walk away."

"We booked a family room with a double bed and two singles, when we arrived they gave us a room with two double beds and said they had let the other room out and should have advised us earlier. They also charged us twice for the stay. Room had 2 towels for 4 people, shower just trickled and could barely sit on toilet as it was squeezed tight by sink. Not a good stay 👎"

"Lovely little property in a quiet area of Besancon, about 20 min walk from the city centre. Our host (Richard) was very friendly and professional, providing a lovely continental breakfast in the morning. He also provided help and directions to park our car in the building opposite our flat. Our bedroom was very quiet and comfortable. A small fridge may be a nice addition for those staying more than a couple of nights."
