"Had yet another memorable stay at San Martinho Beach Club. The amenities are great and accommodates all requirements. The rooms are very clean, and the beach is spotless. The water is wonderful. Had a foot massage at the Spa which hit all the right spots. The Sandbar Restaurant caters for all palates, and caters for vegetarians as well. The staff and the manager Daniel are most accommodating. I look forward to another well deserved break soon"

"The hotel rooms are small but clean and comfortable and the pool is warm. That's unfortunately where the good things end. The service at the restaurant, over our 8-day visit, was pathetic. Absolutely no care, very very slow, lacklustre, shocking. The "1.3km of white sand beach" looks pretty. Unfortunately, there is a strong whiff of dirty river type of smell from the lagoon on the wind every evening. The water is algae murky and unswimmable at any time. The "spa" is a 5m² dank hut. The jet skis and boats just add noise to the smell. This place charges a lot of money for the very basic offering it serves up. Especially the terrible, unfriendly service. Not worth the R55k for 2 people for 8 nights at all. Wish we had not booked here."

"What a lovely place to go to. The tranquility and relaxed atmosphere, with a white beach that seems to stretch on forever. The tents were super nice, with everything you need. There were mosquito nets that were very welcome. The accommodation was perfect. It was glamping at its best. The Hooligan bar and restaurant serves divine food and drinks. The best R&R ever! Our hosts were super friendly and assisted when asked. We went on a boat trip around the lagoon, saw the flamingos, and popped in at the Flip Flop Bar for a snack and a drink. This felt like island life at its best. The staff were super helpful. Assisted with SIM cards and airtime, all sorted. You can buy extra data right there. The resort just exceeded my expectations. It was one of the best holidays ever. Will I go again? I will be right back as soon as possible. I wish we could spend some more time there. "

"The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was open and spacious. Every room had air conditioning. There are enough utensils and crockery in the kitchen for proper self catering - perhaps they just need a few things in order to braai - we brought our own fold-up. The view takes your breath away and you are perfectly located. The staff are extremely welcoming and very helpful - you never need anything - they look after you. "
