"Stayed in room 134 for business. Front desk crew was pleasant enough and hotel appears well kept and newer. Parking was free but did get crowded in the evening. Room was clean and large enough with good amenities. Fitness center was definitely above average. Did not use pool but looked decent. Close to everything in Altoona. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well. Only things I didn’t care for were the breakfast. Frozen reheated biscuit sausage sandwiches, just boiled eggs, some weird tasting reheated quiches, some days no cereal, muffins, yogurt, and oatmeal. Would have rather seen staples such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage separate, pancakes or waffles, etc. and the fact that they get a lot of work crews staying there which seem to want to hang out and gather in hallways and stairs"

"This is my third stay at this hotel. The rooms seem to have been renovated in the last two years, and the design and decoration are excellent. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the interiors are clean and hygienic. The restaurant layout is reasonable, and dining is comfortable!"

"Beautiful B & B that is superbly cared for and exceptionally clean. Our room and bed were very comfortable and quiet. The location is great and we walked a few short blocks to the wonderful Mayfield Cafe. Breakfast was so good. Freshly made and excellent. What a great place to stay !!"

"The hotel is located in the small town of Altuna, about ten minutes drive from the university campus, and about ten minutes from supermarkets such as Wal-Mart and restaurants. The room was clean and tidy, the room was spacious, the breakfast was a bit simple, and the parking was free. This is not bad."
