"The room's interior decor was typical of a chain hotel, and the provided toothbrush was splayed and completely unusable. On the upside, the bedding was comfortable and clean, parking was free, and there were convenient dining options nearby. It's also close to attractions like Dongjiang Granary and Xutian Village (the one popular on Xiaohongshu), about a 20-minute drive. I wouldn't recommend visiting them though; they're quite unremarkable and don't compare to Zeng Guofan's Former Residence, only suitable for a brief glance. The absolute worst aspect, however, was the terrible sound insulation. I originally thought that not being next to the main road would mean peace and quiet. Instead, it was even worse than facing the main road. At 11 PM, I could clearly hear water running from showers in the adjacent rooms on both sides! I even recorded a video as proof. On top of that, there was the constant booming and rattling from outdoor AC units and metal ventilation pipes. I was so utterly exhausted that I only managed two hours of sleep that night. There was also a persistent dripping sound from upstairs. By then it was too late, and with an early 7 AM departure the next day, I didn't want the hassle of complaining to the front desk, so I just let it slide."
