"I regularly give reviews on places to stay. This time it's different. Next May, I plan to visit Polynesia. In Bora-Bora, I really wanted to book here, but I had a few questions to ask before doing so, regarding the width of the beds (important for me, not indicated on the site, and difficult to get an idea from the photos), and the periods available to establish my circuit (I always book flights before hotels). The place looks superb. So I sent an email (address provided on the site) at the beginning of July, a reminder a week later, still no response. I sent a third email in August. No response!!!. It's really a shame. I finally booked elsewhere."

"The hotel is new, less than 3 years old, and it really shows. The facilities are beautiful, with great restaurants and spectacular views of Mount Otemanu. Plus, the room was super nice, with everything one could wish for and more."

"Everything, including the toilets, was kept clean. I was grateful to the staff who cleaned the beach in front of our bungalow early in the morning. The window door leading down to the beach was too heavy and difficult to close. The lock was broken, so it was secured with a wooden stick; I hope this is improved soon."

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora ★★★★★
"The Four Seasons Resort is truly beautiful, and the snorkeling is fantastic. The service was excellent, and even my child with allergies was well taken care of. Our whole family had a wonderful time. There was only one tiny drawback: our entire family was woken up at 5 AM by barking dogs. The Four Seasons Resort explained that there were dogs in the private houses across the street."

The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort ★★★★★
"It feels like the hotel is old and a bit outdated compared to the Conrad and other hotels I saw online. Eating is relatively expensive. It is recommended not to go to French restaurants or Chinese buffets during the Chinese New Year. They are expensive and not delicious. For this price, you can eat several of the top domestic buffets. Because we were caught up in a hurricane when we arrived, it was raining and windy all the time, so we didn’t get to do anything, so we just snorkeled and watched fish in the hotel. The snorkeling area has a very good environment and there are many fish. The hotel has a Chinese-speaking butler, which is very nice. The hotel has boats and buses that can take you to the town on the main island, but apart from buying pearls, there is really nothing else in the town. Walking on the road is similar to that in rural areas in China, and there are many wild dogs. Generally speaking, going to Tahiti is not as good as going to the Maldives. The scenery and projects are similar, but the price/performance ratio is not as good as the Maldives. The same goes for hotels."

Rohotu Fare ★★★★★
"Our six day family stay at Rohotu Fare was nothing short of extraordinary. It was a deeper and more soulful Bora Bora than we ever expected. The bungalows and villa sit within lush hand tended gardens that feel like an untouched Pacific sanctuary. Each path leads to quiet beauty, and each room is alive with an astonishing collection of Pacific art, tikis, carvings, and rare antiquities that tell the island's story with grace and authenticity. The true magic however comes from Mr. Nir Shalev and his beautiful family, whose warmth and care transform a beautiful property into an unforgettable experience. Their hospitality makes you feel less like a guest and more like a welcomed traveler invited into a home filled with culture, history and heart. Rohotu fare isn't just a stay, it is a memory in the making, a treasure for anyone seeking the soul of Bora Bora and the spirit of French Polynesia."

"The front desk lady has a very bad attitude. She is the woman on the left behind the counter in the picture below. It was the first time I met a customer standing at the front desk. When I looked at her, she couldn't even say hello. Her attitude was disgusting and yin-yang throughout the whole process. She was much better when facing white people. Abstract"
