Melsted Badehotel

"Our second stay at Melsted was mostly what we had hoped for in a beautiful room in the Pileannex. Breakfast is sufficient with buffé some days and tableserving some days. The food at lunch and at dinner is very good. Unfortunately the nice but mostly unexperienced staff is not always doing the restaurant justice. Not wanting to move two tables a bit apart at dinnertime and seat us at the one we wanted (”no, it is for four persons”), when three minutes later two other persons were granted the same request by another staffmember, left a very irritating feeling with us – be flexible and consistent. And, with a set dinnermenu, we and other guests should not have to wait 40 minutes for the main course. Best regards Jan Andersson"

Sandkaas Badehotel

"If you want to lower your pulse and blood pressure - Sandkaas Badehotel is the right place. The hotel is rather small, but the atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. The owners (Josephine and Christian) make you feel like you are home(also what the sign says at the entrance). They do a lot to make their guests feel good. The rooms are newly renovated in a classic bath hotel style, and very clean. Top of the day(in my opinion) is the breakfast. Every day Christian makes homemade breakfast buns which are super delicious. All breakfast products are of highly good quality. Sitting on the terrace and enjoying breakfast at the same time with a view over the Baltic Sea is so fantastic."
