"We chose this hotel for a trip to Bornholm celebrate a special anniversary. Although the staff knew of this, there was nothing done to add to our celebration. The view from our room and the balcony was wonderful. The room was fine but nothing special and not worth the price. Brakfast was just ok,scambled eggs were cold. The breakfast room was crowded and people were not making much effort to keep a distance as was being recommended by the health authorities. The restaurant was nothing special and had a very limited menu."

"This hotel has a compelling vibe, and I do recommend you to opt for it for a stay on Bornholm. The bed is second to none - sleep quality is probably the best I’ve experienced in a hotel. Breakfast is good, and the 24/7 free coffee is a big plus. The sitting areas inside and outside are nice. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Reason why this is not a five star rating is the bathroom. Other reviews has pointed it out: it’s is (too) small, and the shower solution simply is disqualifying; the cabin is open to the toilet and floor, resulting in a soaking wet toilet and sprayed floor after showering. I for one simply don’t get why the hotel doesn’t equip the cabin with some kind of door to eliminate this issue. There are plenty of solutions out there for narrow space scenarios"

"A quirky hotel with great potential but a little tired. My room was tiny but clean and adequate. The location is excellent. There is a very nice garden to sit in and the breakfast was good. The bread ( loaf rather than the rolls) was as good as any I have ever had. However, what spoiled the experience for me was my reception by the proprietor who was cold and unwelcoming, giving me a key but no further information. It took me two hours to pluck up the courage to go back again to ask for the WiFi code and where to charge my e-bike."
