The Ash Mountain Suite is one of two private Suites available at the Rose Retreat. The Red Mountain Suite is adjacent and also available for booking. Spectacular views of Ash Peak and Red Mountain. BBQ, picnic and meadow area to enjoy. We live close by and available if needed.The Rose Retreat is located on a beautiful, private and quiet one acre mountain lot. Being located less than 1 mile to the gate of the famous Sequoia National Park makes us one of the closest properties available in Three Rivers! The space is a newly built (2022) custom property with two private modern Suites (Ash Mountain Suite and Red Mountain Suite). The Ash Mountain Suite is very spacious (450 sq feet) with amazing mountain views! The Suite has a queen bed, private shower, toilet and dressing area as well as a dining table, electric fireplace and Roku TV. Also, the Suite has a kitchenette with a wet bar, mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, teapot, dishes and utensils. NOTE: We do not have an oven/stove. We provide complementary coffee, tea and a snack basket with oatmeal, popcorn, healthy snack packs, protein bars, chocolates & bottled water. A perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature with magnificent views of Ash Peak and Red Mountain. Also, our location is wonderful for bird watching during the day and stargazing at night. We have a propane BBQ grill with two picnic areas as well as a meadow to enjoy.We are located in the quaint, artistic mountain town of Three Rivers. There are many restaurants, shops and activities to explore. The top rated Gateway Restaurant is a local favorite and located ¼ mile away. Breathtaking river views, delicious food, full bar and open 365 days a year serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, The Totem Market is less than 1 mile away. The Totem is a small market with casual food, deli, BBQ, beer, wine & supplies. Perfect location to pick up goodies for your picnic basket! Both The Gateway and The Totem Market rent chains if needed.We offer our guests convenient and private self check in. You can check yourself in using the keypad. Your personal 4 digit keypad code will be sent to you 5 days prior to your check in date. Check in time is 3:00pm. The Suite is often ready earlier and we are happy to offer an early check in when available.We have safe and secure parking available on the property. The Suite includes one designated parking space. Add to that the fact that he chose a manager whose houses have been voted "Best Vacation Home in Kaweah Country" for five years in a row, and you have the makings for a perfect experience.The main house opens into a brilliant living room featuring floor to ceiling windows showcasing the Sierra Nevada mountains. You'll find lots of comfy seating, a woodstove, large screen smart TV and amazing local artwork adorning the walls. The open floor plan includes a dining table that will seat six and a full kitchen complete with a brand new gas oven & stovetop, new refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, blender, cookware, dinnerware...you name it. The bedroom contains a brand new Cal King bed, large mirrored closet and a view of the garden and mountain peaks of Sequoia National Park. The temperature of the house can easily be controlled by a Nest thermostat. No matter how hot or cold it is outside, you will be very comfortable inside.The adjacent studio (just a couple of steps away) is perfect for those in your party that prefer a bit more privacy. Inside you will find a bedroom with a new Cal King bed, outstanding views of the great outdoors, coffee service, mini fridge, big closet, cabinets for your storage and a full bathroom with tub/shower. We provide a double bed size Memory Foam fold-out mattress with linens if you need additional sleeping space in the studio. The studio's climate is controlled by a ductless mini-split offering both heating & cooling in an efficient and quiet manner.We happily provide unlimited hi-speed internet (Spectrum approx 75Mbps download speed) for our guests who like to stay connected or are on a working vacation. The smart television is not connected to cable or satellite, but does offer Netflix and guests are welcome to access their own accounts as well (don't forget to bring your password). Surrounded by oak trees, it was easy for us to name this location Oak Tree Hollow! We are less than a mile from the Sequoia National Park entrance and have spectacular views of Morro Rock—plenty of space for you and your family pet to enjoy during your visit to the national park. The house's layout is very open, with cathedral ceilings in the living room and dining areas; the master bedroom offers a private setting as it stands alone at one end of the house. The wood-burning stove is visible to guests in the dining and living rooms. Plus, our amenities include WiFi, Cable television, a fully stocked kitchen, and all linens and towels are included. The front yard is large and gives you plenty of space to throw a ball around, and the back patio gives extra privacy from the main road. The kitchen offers plenty of counter space to cook fabulous dinners for your friends and family. A large pantry provides extra space to store your food during your visit, so there is no need to leave grocery bags full of food on the counters. Unpack and stay a while! The kitchen offers a bar area, perfect for other family members to sit and socialize with the family's "Chef" while staying entirely out of the way!The master bedroom is on one end of the house, and the other two bedrooms are on the other end, which gives mom and dad great privacy from the children or grandma and grandpa from the rest of the family!The master bedroom provides a king bed, a seating area for reading your favorite book, and plenty of closet space to store your belongings. Please note that the bathroom is not attached to the master bedroom. A door off the dining room separates the hallway, leading to the master bedroom.
