House furnishings were selected w/ an amazing local interior designer. A local cleaner keeps the place beyond clean for check in. Nice art work on the walls. Amazing hikes, wineries, mountain biking, Skiing , bakeries, shopping are all very close by. We also provide a smart TV that you can use with your Netflix, Amazon, or other subscriptions you may have (we don’t provide cable tv).Parking is on the street and free 24 hours a day (the parking under the building is for our long-term tenants only). There are two public city parking lots about half a block from our building. One is located about 200ft due east and the other is located about 350 feet west of our building. But most of our guests prefer to use the free street parking right next to the building. There is a mini-split unit that provides heat and AC. The mini-split is located in the living room. It is a 3-minute drive to the toll bridge that lets you into Hood River.The spaceEnjoy your stay inside this thoughtful, spacious, and comfortable space that comes with a decor mix of vintage and new. Get a total reset by relaxing at home with a fully stocked kitchen and dining room, movies on the couch, a relaxing bathtub, a very short walk (one block) into the quaint town where you will find restaurants, a supermarket, bakery, brewery, library, bars, and a short drive to explore the charming town of Hood River.(Please note that there is a $3.50 toll bridge to and from Hood River.) It Is electronic so be sure to pay at Port of Hood River.The home is 3 bedroom 2 bath home. Downstairs has a kitchen, living room, master bed with a queen mattress, and a detached master bathroom with a shower and bathtub that is stocked with towels, toilet paper, and body/shampoo/conditioner soap.Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another bedroom with 2 twin beds. They are fully supplied with blankets and pillows. Each bedroom in the house has large closets that have extra blankets and pillows. There is a guest bathroom upstairs with a walk-in shower and is stocked with towels, toilet paper, and body/shampoo soap.Kitchen: there is a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm. Plenty of dishes, pots, and pans, serving utensils, microwave, electric stove, spices, big fridge and freezer, and coffee maker. There is a dining area that seats up to 6 as well as a smaller breakfast table to seat 4 in the kitchen.There is a guest unit next door. They have a separate private entrance and no space is shared with them. It is unlikely that you will hear or cross paths with them. The house is soundproofed between units, however, we do ask that you do not yell or play loud music. Please keep the downstairs bathroom door closed to minimize any potential noise. If you have a loud group or children running around in the evening in the living room please close the bedroom and bathroom doors downstairs.Laundry Room: *PLEASE NOTE* The laundry room is a shared space between myself, you, and my very trusted housekeeper who cleans the small unit next door. There are two entrances to the laundry room. There is an outdoor entrance into the laundry room which she will be entering through. There is another door with a keypad in the laundry room that enters directly into the kitchen. You are more than welcome to use the laundry room whenever you like but please always close the door behind you so you are not alarmed if my housekeeper comes into the laundry room. She will not enter your space as your door will be closed.For your peace of mind, there is a keyless entry pad to all doors, the front door, the side door, and the door inside the laundry room opening into the kitchen. The doors will automatically lock on the keyless entry pads. If the door does not automatically lock when you leave the house turn the small knob above the interior door knob and it will switch back to automatic.We welcome dogs, please let me know before your stay. There is a cleaning fee of $100 per dog. This fee covers shedding, pet smell, and extra dirt traction throughout the house. This does not cover pee on carpet, soft waste on carpet, or ruined furniture.Guest access:Please enter through the black front door.*Do not park in front of the neighbor's home directly to the left when facing the house. Please park on the street directly in front of the house and follow the walkway to the black door. We welcome you to come enjoy some peace and quiet in our lovely modern home with private spa experiences. Enjoy unparalleled views of Mt. Hood, the Hood River Valley and our majestic west facing view down the Columbia River Gorge from almost every room and deck. Situated just one mile outside of downtown White Salmon, WA, you will feel like you're in a special rural environment. We welcome you to your home away from home. This home is a 3 level, recently remodel home built in 2007. The entry level is the main level and has a dining area, a kitchen, a living room (all with amazing mountain and river views) a half bath and a mud room/ pantry. You can walk out this level onto an expansive deck with outdoor furniture a gas grill and a gas fire pit. Enjoy breathtaking views while you relax or dine! Upstairs you will find the master suite with sitting / TV area and ensuite full bath with soaking tub, beautiful tile shower and a 2 sink vanity. A loft area separates the staircase and the master suit and has an office desk with chair and 2 twin beds for additional guests. The 2 twin beds are listed as beds in the 3rd bedroom, but are actually located in the loft. Below the main level is the media room, bedroom number 2 with a king bed and bedroom number 3 with a queen bed. There is also a full bath and the laundry room on this floor. Walk out this level and you can enjoy the outdoor hot tub....with views, the private sauna....with views and the outdoor shower...with views. Please message us to ask about staying for less than our 3 day minimum and we will always try to accommodate last minute requests. Walking our neighborhood is a dream and our proximity to all recreation the Gorge has to offer is amazing. Come, stay, play and relax in style.
