"The only thing positive I have to say about this property is that the skeleton front desk staff were very nice. Corporate Hilton has obviously not spent a dime on this property in quite awhile. I am a 70 YO woman traveling alone with 2 cats. There were no luggage carts available for the two days I was here, so I had to carry my numerous pieces of luggage up to my room one by one with no help. The front desk staff told me the luggage carts had disappeared, probably into someone’s room, and they had no idea where they were. The swimming pool was closed with no projected opening date due to an unresolved “chemical imbalance.” The water was shut off during part of one day while I was here. The bathroom sink faucet belched blasts of air intermittently. This area endured a huge snow and ice storm a little over a week ago. The roads are mostly clear now, but the parking lot at the hotel had obviously been untouched. Not scraped. Not salted. No sand applied. It is a solid skating rink of 2 inch ice. Typical prepackaged frozen breakfast items…yuck. I would not stay here again. I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for many years, and I’ve never been sorely disappointed with one of their properties until I stayed here. I want to reiterate that the front desk staff was very nice. I got the sense that they were trying to do their best under adverse circumstances. Hilton needs to either take their name off this property or correct the many problems with it."
