"We had to make a quick overnight stop for a competition.  My child and I got in our room sat on the bed and the mattress and box spring promptly collapsed below us hurting my back.  We immediately packed up and left.  My husband called to inform the front desk and ask for compensation for the terrible experience.  They told us we had to call the group we booked through, which was fine but then the group we booked through said they had to call the hotel.  The hotel the refused to comp us and recommended another room.  Why would I want to stay in another room after I was just hurt there???"

"We booked a king suite for a two night stay. We received a call shortly before arriving asking us to voluntarily downgrade to a smaller regular room. We said we would discuss upon arrival. When we arrived, we were immediately asked how many were in our party and when we said 2, the front desk tried to talk us into a regular king room bc they wanted to give the suite to a larger party. It was a very odd exchange and we declined and said we booked a suite for a reason. It left a bad taste in our mouths for the rest of the stay. The hotel was hosting several softball teams, which made it quite loud. The rooms do not block out sound very well. The room was clean and well appointed. The rest of the hotel was just average. The workout room was not very clean. The free breakfast was not great."
