"The hotel is called Dahua Hotel as per Google map. The surrounding area is very run down, but then Keelung city is indeed a very old city. The reception is manned throughout but very run down. The only elevator is very old and has a musky smell. Entering the very univiting hotel building feels like taking a risk to enter a ******* building (we arrived at night at 9pm). It was the May Day holidays so the room costs a lot more. I passed by many similar class hotels and the exterior were just as bad. Renovations were still ongoing but did not create much noise or disturbance. Hopefully the owner will also renovate the reception area and the exterior of the building There were no seating area for guests at the reception and also no toilets available tp use except in your room.
We booked a standatd twin room and it was a pleasant surprise to see two queen sized beds. The room was renovated and spacious. ex However there were no luggage holder so you will have to place your suitcase on the floor.
Location was convenient. From the hotel, turning left leads you to Sankeng train station (5 minutes walk), which is very convenient to get to Shifen waterfall or Ruifang station. Turning right will lead you to Miaokou night market as well as the Renai morning market. The bus stop at Zhongsi Road (opposite the Renai market) is just 5 minutes walk and bus 791 (coastal route) will bring you directly to Bitoujiao, enroute you can also visit Zhengbin colorful houses, Heping park, Badouzi area."

"I was a guest in room 503, and we were truly surprised. I had mentally prepared myself for a hotel with a 7-something rating, expecting insect bites, dust, cobwebs in the corners, and perhaps frayed, torn, or yellowed bedsheets. But when we checked in, the room and bathroom were spotless and odor-free! There was even a water dispenser and a refrigerator in the room for our use. After staying for two nights, I truly commend this place; it's a shame I didn't take any photos."
Aloha HotelSurrounding facilities (close to shopping malls, restaurants and convenience stores, etc.), and convenient transportation (near the train station / airport / subway, etc.), is located in the downtown area (very convenient for shopping and sightseeing)
"The room's decor was unique, with yellow as the main color, including the floor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere overall. The front desk staff were always available and offered free luggage storage."

GGuest UserThe hotel seat is a bit remote, there are no shops nearby to buy things, the internal space is large, the facilities are sufficient, and the complimentary bath and shower supplies
GGuest UserIt's very close to Keelung Miaokou Night Market, about a 2-minute walk. There's no parking, so you'll have to find your own; parking is really hard to find in the area. It's convenient for eating, and there are convenience stores nearby. However, most of the restaurants in the area are quite old. Hengchang Restaurant is one of the better ones, but there are karaoke bars downstairs... it can be a bit chaotic coming and going... be careful.
GGuest UserGood service attitude! The bathtub is also very big. The child is very happy to take a bath.
The only downside is that the smoke smells a little heavy
