Monteverde Hotels with Breakfast

The location is excellent for seeing wildlife. Excellent view and friendly staff.

The hotel keeper makes it a very good place to stay.  The breakfast is good.  The house is spacious.  The service is great.  Appreciated very much.

1. The hotel is located in a scenic location with a large customized area. A lot of animals can be met without leaving the hotel or even a room 2. Very unusual rooms-like dating houses. Comfortably and romantic, all conveniences. 3. Staff Attention and Care 4. Aguti Park chic entrance ticket is available at the hotel reception 5. Very good restaurant, the right food 6. Excellent massage 7. The infinite star sky above the head

Très belle vue. L’hôtel manque quelques équipements, tels qu’un spa ou piscine ou jacuzzi.

Wat verouderd hotel maar wel netjes en schoon met super vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel Hele grote kamers en een goede douche met warm water en harde straal Ontbijt ook erg lekker met vers fruit koffie thee of warme chocolademelk en fruitdrankjes Het hotel is net buiten het centrum maar je loopt er zo geen dat is heel dichtbij terug wel een beetje pittig omdat je tegen de berg op moet lopen 😅

Valle Escondido has a great view over the valley and good nature trains where you can spot animals and birds in their environment. The staff are very welcoming and helpful with nothing being too much bother. The restaurant serves home town produce however the menu dos not vary between lunch and dinner so staying there for a few days and eating at this restaurant can become repetitive/limited choices. Whilst nature takes and eco ethos takes front stage there are a few little things that could be improved to ale their offering better: - more comfortable seating areas - this would help guests relax and be bake to sit comfortably during days when it’s raining. There’s little spaces for this at present. - vary the menu between lunch and dinner - possibly add a swimming pool / jacuzzi to increase relaxation or enhance luxury - rooms above the gues shop and by the Landry could do with some modernising. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay at and the above enhancements could make it excellent. The location is quiet (nature is the only thing making noises!) and it’s easy to get a taxi ordered into town costing some USD 6. If asking the reception to organise the cloud forest tour please note this does not include pick up from hotel and a taxi there will likely cost USD 20). Hotel staff were amazing. The hotel environment is very good, the location is good, the service is warm and thoughtful, and the friends are very satisfied. It is a good choice for local travel. The local climate is pleasant and the scenery is beautiful 🐧

Otherwise amazing hotel plagued by rude staff and tour buses. First, this a hotel is used by Americans in bus tours - expect hundreds of them any given time. Second, the staff is incredibly rude. We had an issue with our keys and the reception employee, Ana Belen, refused to help us or even try to understand the issue. TV turned up by itself in the middle of the night. The toilet flush situation is terrible, there is simply no pressure. The good thing, hotel is nearby the Cloud Reserve, breakfast is good and pool looks good.
