"Positives - on the beach front with lovely views, just a short walk to all the tourist attractions.
Very nice English breakfast.
Staff were polite and efficient.
Lobby areas neat and tidy. Good lunch food.
Negatives. Upstairs hallways and bedrooms are in very poor condition. Peeling wallpaper, dirty sofas, threadbare carpets, scratched paintwork and faded curtains.
Private Parking advertised but still costs £25 a night.
Limited amenities."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the sea, just a five-minute walk away. The front desk service is excellent. There's a kitchen and fridge available for guests to cook, and you need a room card to enter and exit. There's also a water refilling station in the lobby, which even passersby can use. The room isn't huge but it's very clean, and the bathroom has a wet and dry separation. The double room offers great value for money."

"The location was very satisfactory, very close to the beach, and the staff were friendly. However, due to ongoing renovations, the elevator was not yet available, and the bathroom locks could not be fully closed, causing some inconvenience. Overall, the price was very cheap and acceptable."

Great
GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome, and the check-in team kindly offered complimentary drinks for my son and me.
I was delighted to find a bottle of red wine and a lovely birthday card waiting in the room, which made the celebration extra special. The room was beautiful with a stunning sea view, and I really enjoyed the coffee selection. The breakfast area was excellent, and the lounge was perfect for relaxing with a drink.
They truly made my birthday special. All the staff and the concierge team were lovely . I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return for sure.
Thank you, the Grand Hotel.
TTaroSuper cute hotel, only minutes away from the beach. Quiet place slightly further out from the busy bars but close enough to walk. Lovely staff really chatty and helpful. Offered places to go and visit. We would highly recommend it and Would be more than happy to go back again
HHuiChun28The room is great with all the amenities available. Staff are really nice and helpful. The only thing that the hotel could improve is cleanliness of the duvet. I could see some stinks on it despite the fact that the duvet cover is clean. And also just a recommendation for the hotel, it would be great to serve the guests with disposable slippers for the hygiene of the room as it would be a bit inconvenient for travellers to step in the room without slippers
JJK meThe room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was especially cozy, and the space was well-organized. Although the room wasn’t very large, it felt practical and suitable for a solo traveler or a couple.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any questions. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth.
Bed is quite small for twin bed. Overall, it was perfect
GGuest UserA stay with my adult daughter for passing her Degree. Her 1st time in Brighton. At a lucky request gave me a partial sea view which was in fact excellent large room, comfy bed a with a gorgeous bay with full view sun. All staff were attentive, friendly and inclusive.
There’s a real charm and nostalgic atmosphere about the old building that is on the beach front enabling Breakfast to see the sea. The only reason I have not given a 5 star 🌟 is due to some signs of wear and tear / dated chairs although they were comfy and snug. Thanks to all Queens staff we will be back
NNuomibaoThe room was quite spacious. There wasn't a fridge in the room, but you could request one from the front desk and they would install it for you. It's close to the beach and the surrounding area is great for exploring, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. There's an underground car park available; just ask the hotel front desk for a discount code, and it's £27 for the whole day.
AAnonymous UserThis hostel boasts a fantastic location, right next to Regent Square, and just steps from the beach. It's also within walking distance of the train station. The common areas are very spacious and include a communal kitchen, with plenty of outlets on the walls – perfect for getting some work done. The rooms themselves are clean, and each one has its own private bathroom. The only minor drawback is that blow-drying your hair might disturb others. Each guest gets a lockable locker, and the beds come with backrests. They even provide towels and bath mats (shampoo and shower gel are also available in the bathroom), which shows great attention to detail and convenience. Although the breakfast is simple, it's quite tasty. Overall, it was a really great experience, and I'd happily recommend this place to anyone visiting!
BBettina DyerLast minute visit to Brighton & needed an overnight stay. The Holiday Inn is ideal as it is in a great location overlooking the beach and walking distance to shops & restaurants. There is parking available under the hotel which is also a must as parking is scarce in Brighton.
Staff are friendly & helpful.
My room was clean & my bed was very comfortable.
On this occasion I didn't have breakfast but it was available at an extra cost of £14.
An ideal place for my overnight stay. Would recommend.
GGuest UserOn the pricey end of hotels in Brighton, the room very simple and old fashioned.
No real complaints staff are very friendly. Getting the bags to the room is difficulty so I wouldn't recommend to someone with reduced mobility.
But overall great view and nice staff.
GGuest UserWe had a nice experience in this hotel ..The location is a calm and serene area opposite to the park ..Hence it can be used for a stroll..Incase you are not using a car ,bus connectivity is very good to beach and near by attractions..The room is spacious and we got 3 beds for a family of four and the heater was also provided ..Tehe morning buffet was sumptuous with many options to chose from. Only drawback I felt is with respect to the bathroom ,wish they would have provided a set of shampoos in addition to the shower gel..Also the lock of bathroom was not working properly ,wish they correct it soon..Overall would definitely come back in future ...
