Heraklion Hotels with Breakfast

Stayed here 1 night as an extra night due to late flight arrival times so we didn’t burn a day at our all inclusive. Hotel is brand new, clean, comfortable and very well located. As a family of 4 we had a double joining room. Staff were absolutely brilliant and went out their way to be so friendly and nice. It had a small gym but all good equipment, perfect for a short stay, breakfast buffet was decent for a short stay… Would highly recommend if you want a modern, clean and nice hotel. We spent the part of the day exploring Heraklion before heading to Panormos to our all inclusive. A+

The room is simple and clean with complete facilities. The service is good. You can check in early if the cleaning is done. Check-out is also negotiable. Self-service luggage storage. The location is good, next to the bus station, port, long-distance bus station. If you drive, next to the gas station, there is a parking space at the door. Very convenient.

The hotel is in a great location in the city center, convenient for shopping and visiting museums. The sink is in the bedroom, and the bathroom contains both a toilet and shower. After showering, the entire bathroom floor was flooded. I suggest the hotel separate the shower and toilet areas with a full door.

A fantastic hotel, just 200 meters from the Cretan Archaeological Museum. There's a bus stop right next to the hotel to Knossos Palace; a round trip costs €5. The room I booked was great, the bathroom was clean, and it had a balcony, but it was a bit noisy at night because it's near the road. Also, it's a bit far from the beach, so the sea view isn't great. There was a kettle and complimentary bottled water. The breakfast was excellent, served per person, and I couldn't finish it all. The coffee was the best I've had at breakfast in years. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Heraklion.

We stayed for 12 nights in total. We asked for a room with south-facing windows but it was never given to us, even when the room was empty. It was so unfriendly. The older cleaners were very serious, but the younger ones were very bad. They were not timely and did not put away the items. Complaints were useless. The breakfast was very good. Although the variety was the same every day, it was rich and very Cretan.

We recently stayed at the Metropole and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment wr arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here.

The Hotel itself is clean and convenient located nearby the Heraklion Harbour and city center. Note that you need to check in at the lato Hotel across the street. The annex lato is a separate building.

We were impressed with the breakfast. We also felt like kings due to the three beds that were provided for my wife and I. She was a big fan of the praline spread but I almost went into a chocolate coma! However this wasn’t the best we’ve ever had; the coffee was bitter.

Hotel location is convenient, breakfast is average, but more fruits, extra points. Hygienic conditions were average. The only time I had been in this hotel for two months was that I had been bitten by a few bales, which was really annoying. The old gentleman at the reception was good, the recommended restaurant was delicious.

The room was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped, and there was a small supermarket in the lobby. In particular, the front desk staff was very warm and friendly, and gave us handwritten bus routes and bus stop names. The bus stop was not far from the hotel, which was very helpful for us to visit the city (the bus driver did not understand English).
