"This is a very well managed hotel with a good location, close to the pier and a five-minute walk from the Archaeological Museum. The breakfast is very good, the facilities are complete, the price is not expensive, and the cost performance is very high. When I checked in on June 1, there was a gentleman front desk staff who patiently answered many questions about Heraklion tourism for me and helped me print the boat ticket to Santorini. I would like to thank him here!"

"Position 100 points. We came by bus from Chania and the next stop was to take a boat to Santorini. The accommodation is a 10-minute walk from the bus station and the pier.
The museum is also within a 10-minute walk.
It is also within 1 km of the walking street.
The room facilities are very new and feel newly decorated.
The counter staff was great too.
Always provide me with help and never do things perfunctorily."

City Lion by Semavi is an excellent place to stay in Heraklion! The front desk staff were very kind, friendly, and always helpful — they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and assisted with everything we needed.
The location is perfect, right in the centre of the city, with shops, restaurants, and attractions all within a 2–3 minute walk. The apartment was clean, modern, and very comfortable.
Overall, a wonderful experience — great service, amazing location, and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Heraklion!

It is relatively convenient to get to Cullersburg, the bus station and the central square. You can almost reach it by walking 500 meters. Take bus 2 to Knossos Palace. The hotel staff are warm and friendly, and the breakfast is rich and constantly improved according to our needs. The hotel can also help with sightseeing arrangements. Because it is difficult to go to Spinalonga Island in the off-season (it is closed on weekdays), but Mary helped contact the taxi driver, carefully planned the route and plan for us, and continued to discuss it. On the day of our visit, the driver also learned that there were temporary closures on the island. We are a group, so we can be open to us by the way, so that there will be no regrets in the journey!

Really enjoyed my stay at Porta suits. I have Booked it last minute in front of the airport at my arrival haha! Special thanks to the receptionist, what a friendly woman! Had lots of conversations and she was the best. The room was superb!! Really stylish, modern and warm. The jacuzzi top notch👌🏻. The bed is super comfortable and wow what a big kitchen with washingmachine, dishwasher and oven. Everything you need is here. The city center Minas cathedral spot is very near, less than 10 minute walk.if you don’t like walking, you can also take a bus. The bus stop is nearby and only costs 1,20 euros. It takes you to the big busstation at the port or you go out earlier. Again, perfect stay! Will definitely come back with my family! Thank you again for the great service!

Guest UserWhat a lovely stay in Crete! This hotel is gorgeous and spotless. The Breakfast Buffet was outstanding, and every staff member I encountered during my 3-day stay was smiling and helpful. My Executive seaside room was spacious and well-furnished, and it was a perfect place to recharge on my 3-week journey. It was an easy walk from the port (I arrived with SeaJets), and the public bus to the Palace of Knossos was waiting for me right below the hotel the next day. The concierge gave great advice on places to visit, and called for the (15€!) taxi when it was time to get to the airport. Efharistó, Megaron!

Stayed here 1 night as an extra night due to late flight arrival times so we didn’t burn a day at our all inclusive. Hotel is brand new, clean, comfortable and very well located. As a family of 4 we had a double joining room. Staff were absolutely brilliant and went out their way to be so friendly and nice. It had a small gym but all good equipment, perfect for a short stay, breakfast buffet was decent for a short stay… Would highly recommend if you want a modern, clean and nice hotel. We spent the part of the day exploring Heraklion before heading to Panormos to our all inclusive. A+

We recently stayed at the Metropole and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment wr arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here.

Looks great in the pictures, though it's quite old, the walls are dirty, the toilet is dripping constantly. It's a very basic hotel, that's why I believe the price I paid wasn't worth it.
Buffet at the 6th floor has a nice view of the port, and breakfast looks ok for €8, I haven't eaten there.
They squiz fresh oranges!

YouwenhuadechongziThe room was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped, and there was a small supermarket in the lobby. In particular, the front desk staff was very warm and friendly, and gave us handwritten bus routes and bus stop names. The bus stop was not far from the hotel, which was very helpful for us to visit the city (the bus driver did not understand English).

I giving this review from my previous stays at this accommodation over the last 10
Years. Its always been a pleasant and convenient place to stay. Just one complaint though. I accidentally booked the wrong dates to stay but i managed to cancel a whole week before i was meant to stay. NO REFUND EVEN WITH A WEEKS NOTICE!

The Hotel Irakion is right in the centre of te Cretan capital. Excellent position to visit all attractions, museum, Lion Square etc or to just wander around taking in the atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
An open grill opposite the hotel was perfect to get a souvlaki to take back at night and eat it on the balcony with ouzo from the small 24 hour shop opposite hotel.
The hotel itself I well run, clean. Has 24 hour reception.
The room offered everything needed, hot shower, toiletries, plenty of loo roll towels and a fridge. Comfy large beds. Balcony with table and chairs.
They also provided a decent hot and cold buffet to suit almost all tastes. The breakfast sets you up for the day of whatever you're doing next.
