City Lion by Semavi is an excellent place to stay in Heraklion! The front desk staff were very kind, friendly, and always helpful — they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and assisted with everything we needed.
The location is perfect, right in the centre of the city, with shops, restaurants, and attractions all within a 2–3 minute walk. The apartment was clean, modern, and very comfortable.
Overall, a wonderful experience — great service, amazing location, and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Heraklion!

GGuest UserReally enjoyed my stay at Porta suits. I have Booked it last minute in front of the airport at my arrival haha! Special thanks to the receptionist, what a friendly woman! Had lots of conversations and she was the best. The room was superb!! Really stylish, modern and warm. The jacuzzi top notch👌🏻. The bed is super comfortable and wow what a big kitchen with washingmachine, dishwasher and oven. Everything you need is here. The city center Minas cathedral spot is very near, less than 10 minute walk.if you don’t like walking, you can also take a bus. The bus stop is nearby and only costs 1,20 euros. It takes you to the big busstation at the port or you go out earlier. Again, perfect stay! Will definitely come back with my family! Thank you again for the great service!

GGuest UserThe room is simple and clean with complete facilities. The service is good. You can check in early if the cleaning is done. Check-out is also negotiable. Self-service luggage storage. The location is good, next to the bus station, port, long-distance bus station. If you drive, next to the gas station, there is a parking space at the door. Very convenient.

GGiorgos Papadopoulos 17Good location, excellent service and amazing staff. They were very friendly and our room was very clean and tidy. Also it was smelling freshness when we entered the room. Everyday they ask you if you want your room to be cleaned and they are always available to help you. I 100% recommend it and will definitely stay again!

MMan NikNice and very clean room. The staff is very kind and friendly. The breakfast area is small but beautiful and the girl with long black hair and glasses who serves is excellent, always smiling and kind, excellent! The hotel is located in a very central location, you can go everywhere on foot. There is no parking but there is a private one right across the street if someone wants it with a charge of 6 euros per day.

GGuest UserReally, I mean really bad insulation. Could hear people ********** or even blow drying their hair, or talking from the room next door super clearly.
Location was really good. Room inside looks nice, but the staircase and hall way smell of toilet.
There was no house keeping during the two days I've stayed.

GGuest UserThe apartment is ground floor in a good spot in Heraklion. It is spacious , clean, and convenient with nice kitchen area, spacious pleasant bedroom and compact but nice shower room. The living area is spacious but the furniture is functional rather than luxury, and includes a simple sofa bed and single bed . The owner is attentive . However, although We were offered clean towels during our week stay they never turned up . Disappointing. . There is no where to hang wet towels other than on the furniture.

GGuest UserThe Hotel Irakion is right in the centre of te Cretan capital. Excellent position to visit all attractions, museum, Lion Square etc or to just wander around taking in the atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
An open grill opposite the hotel was perfect to get a souvlaki to take back at night and eat it on the balcony with ouzo from the small 24 hour shop opposite hotel.
The hotel itself I well run, clean. Has 24 hour reception.
The room offered everything needed, hot shower, toiletries, plenty of loo roll towels and a fridge. Comfy large beds. Balcony with table and chairs.
They also provided a decent hot and cold buffet to suit almost all tastes. The breakfast sets you up for the day of whatever you're doing next.

YYouwenhuadechongziThe room was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped, and there was a small supermarket in the lobby. In particular, the front desk staff was very warm and friendly, and gave us handwritten bus routes and bus stop names. The bus stop was not far from the hotel, which was very helpful for us to visit the city (the bus driver did not understand English).
