"Truly one of a kind hotel , we really enjoy the pool and the fact that the beach was so close is the best part.
The team is so nice ! From the manager to the housekeeper everyone was very friendly and kind.

"The room was not well soundproofed — I could clearly hear the sound of chairs being dragged and doors slamming from other rooms throughout the day and night. The hotel is relatively new, but it seems to be understaffed in housekeeping. I stayed for two nights, but my room wasn’t cleaned after the first night. I had to inform the staff, and only then did housekeeping come by, around 6 p.m."

Outstanding
TTraveller1401We had an amazing stay! The camp was brand new and very clean. The beach sand was so soft! We want to thank Joey, the wonderful and attentive Camp Cayla staff who made our stay great. As soon as we arrived he arranged everything according to what we liked. He asked us if we wanted to rent a scooter which we choose to do and he organised everything! In the middle of the night we didn’t know how to turn the aircon off (we were holding it too far away) and he was at our door within a few minutes and showed us how to turn it off. He was always on-site and took care of us well! The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. There were some small ants but that’s expected. We had insect spray so it was fine.
Negatives: The property is not fenced so there lots of dogs that come very close, this maybe an issue for people that have a fear of dogs or if there’s small children playing around. The bar/ restaurant/ reception area is not ready yet, there is no where to buy food close by.

＞ Beautifully designed - the outward appearance of the hotel is quite spectacular and is very well decorated.
＞ Comfortable rooms - the beds are large and comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions and the rooms have plenty of places to sit.
＞ Room size - rooms are large and feel spacious.
＞ Cleanliness - The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas.
＞ Staff - Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
＞ Location - the location is ideal for walkability to shops, restaurants and the beach.
Negatives:
＞ Events - The hotel also hosts events which can be very loud and go on late into the night.
＞ Doors/soundproofing - We noticed that there was a significant gap in our door which meant that it wasn't particularly soundproof and we were kept awake most of the night (until 2am) by other guests outside our room.
＞ Location - although I have stated the positives about the location above, the negatives are that the hotel is in close proximity to some bar with live music or karaoke which is incredibly loud and can go on very late into the night. Both the noise from the guests at this hotel and the event down the road was very significant and kept us awake late into the night.
＞ Breakfast - Breakfast is served cold. Although they have the equipment to keep the food warm, for some reason they choose not to. Unless you are lucky enough to catch something as soon as it is placed in the container it will go cold quickly. Eggs, bacon, fried rice, local dishes etc are all cold by the time you get them which is not common for Thai hotels and also very disappointing.
Comments for the hotel:
＞ Doors - please ensure all doors do not have gaps in between. This can be done easily with some rubber lining on the door frame. This would increase the soundproofing of the room dramatically.
＞ Noise - I understand that the hotel cannot control the bar down the street which plays loud music all night but it does have control over its own events and its own guests. There should be strict rules about drunk guests making noise late into the night and knocking on doors. Nowhere in the rules does it state ”quiet hours” which I believe it should. I understand that events at the hotel serve as a large source of the hotel's income, but there's no need to neglect other guests who stay there.
＞ Breakfast - use the equipment you already own properly and keep the breakfast food hot. I do not know any Thai people who enjoy cold food and keeping the food warm would increase the quality of the breakfast dramatically. Despite being a small cafe, the breakfast has quite a variety and the flavour is good but the temperature of the food really ruins the breakfast.

IiweiThe room we get is very nice and huge has 2 bathrooms.
The beach is also very beautiful with a lot of lovely peacocks.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Actually we want to relax here as I read a lot of reviews many people say the island was very beautiful and quiet not busy but we had such bad luck. The other group makes noise all the time too loud. Staff apologies about it.
I like everything here since I took the boat until I went back. Accept at that time I went too busy and annoyed very much.

Please note when booking that the hotel is split into two separate buildings, essentially operating as two distinct hotels, located about a 10-minute walk apart.
**What we liked:**
- A diverse breakfast spread
- Our excellent, newly renovated room
- We enjoyed the hotel's spa facilities
- Numerous restaurants and a 7/11 convenience store are just a 5-minute walk away
**What we didn't like:**
- The sea: The entry was rocky, and the sand wasn't as pleasant compared to the beaches on Thailand's islands.
- The aging pool by the beach had chipped tiles in several spots.
- The on-site restaurant was quite expensive.

There's a swimming pool right next to the room on the first floor. Open the back door and you're right there. Perfect for families and children.

If it were adjusted to a key card system like in general hotels, it would be easier to use. And there should be slippers for wearing in the room. Overall, considering the price, it's acceptable.

There are many types of accommodation, but Zone C can see the sunrise from the room. Very impressed with both the service and the beauty around the island. If the beach is cleared of trash, it will be very beautiful.

YYuriy B.We spent 4 nights in this cozy hotel (two adults and two children) and we liked it. The hotel is a bit old, but this only adds to the atmosphere. The place is designed more for business groups, as evidenced by the large conference rooms in the main building. But during our stay, the hotel was almost deserted until some Chinese rowing team arrived - when we came for breakfast, we saw 2-3 more people - and that was it. And such solitude was a pleasant and unusual surprise.
A spacious two-level room with a balcony overlooking the pool was both cozy and comfortable. Two air conditioners on each level, a work area, a good shower, excellent mattresses, daily cleaning with replenishment of water and tea accessories.
Breakfast is typical for Thailand, without any special delights, but you will not go hungry. Fried eggs or omelettes are prepared upon request. The hotel has a wonderful large swimming pool for any level of swimmers - the depth on one side is 3 meters, there is a paddling pool for kids. There is a bar near the pool where you can order drinks, food from the restaurant and even make instant noodles. All this for a more than adequate price.
If you are tired of Thai food, then to the right of the reception in the main building there is a cool restaurant Fresco - at affordable prices they beautifully serve both local and European dishes.
Separately, it is worth talking about the place Mae Pim itself - you will find a gentle sea without waves, a large number of restaurants with local cuisine for any budget, a fish market, where for a small fee they will cook you grilled seafood. 7-Eleven is a 3-minute walk away. The almost complete absence of other tourists - a complete feeling of peace and quiet.
Of the minuses of the hotel - perhaps only poorly working, and constantly falling off wi-fi. There is also no safe in the room. Also, the staff does not speak English very well, but this is compensated by their friendliness and willingness to help. Recommended.
