The midnight check-in guy was friendly and helpful, and disclosed their $25 âService Feeâ which states $20 on their sign pictured here and then itemized $22+tax on my receipt; the front desk manager was arrogantly defensive and unhelpful telling me to call Expedia when questioned upon check-out and failed to find their fine print on my Trip.com receipts that clearly state all taxes and fees are included in the stated total, bad business practices."

GGuest UserThis hotel is new and has newer facilities, but the front desk is annoyingly overcharging. Ctrip already collects all the taxes and fees, but they'll charge you again if you're not careful. I was also charged $127 in the early morning. When I asked them, they said it was a system error and would be returned at checkout, but it never was. So, be careful with pre-authorizations and read your bill carefully.

GGuest UserThis hotel is the most cost-effective hotel in Long Beach. I personally think I will go there again for free, but I may have to give a tip to the front desk clerk. If you have a high budget, you can choose another hotel. This hotel is the most suitable within this range.

YYee11A pleasant stay experience with courtyard @ Marriott Long Beach. The room is cozy. Front desk, Stephanie was really helpful and friendly. The hotel is also equipped with self guest laundry which is payable but morning coffee provided at the lobby is free. The location of the hotel was also pretty good, surrounded with nice cafes and restaurants. Overall, great place to stay in!

The hotel has complete facilities and the rooms are clean and spacious.

QQINGLIThere are two family hotels in Long Beach. This one is located by the sea. The other one is next to the airport. I have stayed at both hotels. It was the first one I lived in. The one close to the airport was not comfortable and the cost performance was not high. The parking fee plus the room charge added up to nearly 1800. My room can't see the sea yet, I booked a double bed, but gave me a double bed, and I was too lazy to change ~ The room was still clean, the cooking utensils were very complete, and the check-in staff was very enthusiastic But the air conditioner was too noisy, basically I couldn't sleep well all night! For breakfast at 9:30, there is no more food, the waiters can't wait to pack up and go home. Go early if you have breakfast.

AAnonymous UserI forgot to take pictures. The filter of the coffee machine was very dirty, so I asked the front desk to help me change a machine or deal with it. Then they changed it to a broken one, and then changed it again, it was still broken... The front desk asked me why it was broken... and said they might not have other machines, and she couldn't do anything. So I replied to her: Sorry, this is not my responsibility... So they cleaned the water tank filter that was taken away and gave it back to me.

DDavidGreat location (close to Vons supermarket and not too far from the Convention Centre). But rooms are pretty basic and housekeeping is virtually non-existent. In room air con is extremely noisy. Sheets, pillows and mattress were dirty. Guy at the front desk was very nice - but it is clear the place is run on a shoestring.
I haven't stayed around Long Beach but suspect there are better options for the money.
