"Albergo Orologio was an excellent choice for our short break in Brescia. The hotel has a charming atmosphere, is spotlessly clean, and feels very well cared for. Breakfast offered a good selection and was a great way to fuel up before a day of sightseeing. What really stood out was the friendly and professional service. Luca at reception was particularly impressive, speaking excellent English and taking the time to recommend places to visit, restaurants to try, and the best ways to get around the city. His local knowledge definitely helped us make the most of our stay. The location couldn't be much better. Situated right in the historic centre, you're only a short walk from the main attractions, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and gelaterias nearby. If you're arriving by car, be aware that the narrow streets and limited parking can make access a little challenging. However, once you're there, everything is within walking distance and Brescia's public transport is excellent. Brescia itself exceeded our expectations. The castle is a highlight, offering beautiful panoramic views and a pleasant walk through the grounds. The Roman archaeological area is fascinating and gives a real sense of the city's rich history. We also enjoyed simply wandering through the old streets, discovering hidden squares, independent shops, and stopping for coffee along the way. Overall, we found Brescia to be a wonderful destination for a one or two-night stay, and Albergo Orologio was the perfect base from which to explore it. Comfortable, welcoming, and ideally located. Highly recommended."

"We stayed in this hotel for two nights around New Year's Eve. The location is very convenient, in fact it is possible to leave the car in the covered parking provided by the structure and take the metro which is located a few steps from the hotel, which takes you to the center in just 3 stops. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the kindness and professionalism of the girl at reception. Room a little dated but complete with all comforts: from sky TV to air conditioning and mini bar. The breakfast was good, it was just a pity that on the morning of January 1st the choice was very limited compared to the previous day, as only packaged products were present. The justification was the impossibility of refueling due to a holiday. We found this inappropriate having paid full price for breakfast. Overall I rate the hotel as good for the location and the services it offers, shame about the final disappointment."

"The hotel is very close to the train station (a plus point) and offers free luggage storage (convenient). Otherwise, a single room in a tunnel-like space with a bathroom where you have to sit on the toilet and push your knees into the shower opposite (assuming you can squeeze through the tiny gap between the sink and the shower to get to a seat). The bidet is almost impossible to use due to the bathroom door being right next to it. The breakfast is like the worst canteen (just mediocre snacks and a vending machine). All of this in an area where several police patrols are active (just look around to see why...or try finding a bar/restaurant for Italian food nearby)."

"We stopped at this hotel. Our car was parked in the closed and secure parking lot. During the night, our vehicle was vandalized, roof shattered, someone jumped on it!! At the time of the incident, the people there that day assured us that all costs related to the accident would be covered by the hotel. We had the car repaired upon our return to France and we sent them the invoice for €455 remaining to be paid by us. Since that day, no sound, no image and everything has been at our expense, they have not refunded anything!!! Avoid because if something happens to you, they will not keep their word."

"Lovely entrance way on a quiet tree lined street. Welcomed by the manager, it was no problem to put our bikes in the internal courtyard. We were even brought a glass of water at reception. Room and bathroom were spacious. Manager supplied us with a kettle when I hadn’t realised our room didn’t come with one. But it was no problem. There’s a handy supermarket about 400m away. About 20mins walk to centre. No mattress protector or duvet covers which we found not very nice."
