ULTIQA Freshwater Point Resort Broadbeach ★★★★

"Cockroaches in the kitchen, oven was not clean, started smoking when turned on. Window washers hosed exterior windows, left all the dirt and dripping water on the patio and tables. When complained, were asked till next morning for crew to return. Bathroom soap dispensers were too high to reach by elderly people. Faucets were located in tight spots and cannot be easily reached. When washing face, entire area becomes wet. Insufficient furniture. "

Jadon Place Holiday Apartments ★★★

"We were very pleased with our stay @ Jadon Place; the apartment was spacious, clean and very well appointed. Bed was comfy! The apartments are just across the road from the Pacific Fair shopping centre so it's a short walk to shops & restaurants. We arrived late at night and found the after hours check-in process a bit confusing but once we got over that hurdle it was all good. The owners had tried to call but as I was overseas my SIM wasn't working - an email with simple instructions would have been helpful in lieu of the conversation; but all was well in the end. We were very happy with the apartment and had a lovely few days."
