"This is a really comfortable place to stay. There is virtually no noise transfer from other rooms. Everything is either new or in excellent condition. The owners make special effort to make sure you have what you need! We stayed seven nights and had a great experience. We travel a lot and places like this are hard to find. I recommend you book directly with them."

"Nice little cabins next to the Mississippi River, about 10 minutes drive to Alma, where our family lives. Well used space, bed comfort "ok" with a pretty good stocked kitchen. Shower head sprayed well above my head (I'm 5'3") so height for a tall person is good. Water pressure of the shower is good and very hot. Floors are uneven in the cabin we stayed in, with a soft spot near the fridge and bathroom area. Weather was nice for October, and nightly cost seemed a bit high for this time of year, but the location was perfect, as any train sounds were far off vs. right next to us, so that made it worth it. A couple of other family members chose to rent a room in Alma, so they were woken up in the night by trains tooting their horns."

"After being unable to find a reasonably-priced hotel in Eau Claire that had good reviews, I broadened my horizons a bit and found this place. Glad I did. It's a half hour from Eau Claire, but worth the drive. It is reasonably priced and well-kept with friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable and appeared to have been recently updated. Good wifi, refrigerator in room, large TV, and continental breakfast. I plan to stay here again when I'm in the area."

"The cabins and surrounding areas are clean and tidy. Nice little kitchen and living space. The bedrooms and bathroom in our cabin were tiny, really no space to put a suitcase. The cabins are very close together. We could smell cigarette smoke and hear other conversations. Other people parked along side our cabin and came and went during the night so that was noisy. We had a nice screen porch, it wasn’t buggy yet but would definitely be great later in the summer."
