"Great size room! Good bathroom supplies.Tea/coffee facilities,fridge in room and iron which was a bonus. My room view was of a construction crane in this occasion sea view not worth it. Good location, plenty shops/restaurants around. First night was horrible, people drunk banging on doors running up and down corridors, Xmas events were happening in the hotel. I thought St Paul’s bay would be quieter than St Julian’s, I was wrong. It is December I guess. Walls and ceilings thin, could hear everyone! I Didn’t get to use the pool, was filled with small kids each time I went. Spa was expensive compared to other hotels, I used a different hotel at half the price for more treatments instead. At breakfast tables were sectioned off by the windows with sea view and breakfast manager said it was for lunch “because lunch guests complained”. Doing this from 9.30am made no sense and was inconsiderate to breakfast guests. Breakfast was excellent. Good selection and tasty. Reception staff friendly. Pretty Xmas displays throughout hotel. Would I stay again, no."

"It was just perfect. The hotel is new, clean, comfortable. The room is really big and has everything you need. It was a pleasant surprise to get a complimentary mini-bar! I booked this hotel more for an indoor pool and it was really good and warm (not big but ok). Unfortunately, I don't use sauna - it looked also good. I should have paid for the breakfast there - I will do it next time for sure."

"Dont go with the negative reviews as we had a great week at the Soreda Hotel. Okay it was up a hill but remember this is Malta and not Palma Nova. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was on the 1st floor and spotless with little welcoming extras. Lunch was lovely and the staff were very welcoming and efficient. Dinner at night was the same and we really enjoyed our food. The only negative thing I do have is it was only The Rooftop Bar that was open in the evenings and not the bars downstairs but it wasnt such a problem. The rooftop pool was lovely and there were plenty of sunbeds. To be honest I had been worried after reading the reviews but in all we had a great week and would definitely return. Well done The Soreda staff"
