"A beautiful, quiet, and very clean hotel. The staff were all exceptionally friendly. The hotel's location is fantastic. It's the perfect place if you're looking for absolute peace and quiet and to be close to nature. The prices for drinks and food at the hotel are a bit high. (However, this is typical of all the restaurants in the area. The price-performance ratio isn't always ideal.) But we didn't find this to be a problem. There's direct access to the river right next to the hotel, where you can rent canoes and SUPs. We plan to vacation here again next year and will definitely stay at the Waldhotel Eiche again."

"We had the Christmas offer for 3 nights and we felt very well. The hotel is located in a quiet side street, about 20 minutes walk from the port. Just behind the hotel the walking road begins. Our standard room was at the indoor courtyard and was wonderfully quiet. All is clean and maintained. We found the mattresses completely in order, which was decorated by other travelers. The breakfast offer was really super, many kinds of cheese and sauce, especially popular with us too: the rustic housemaker sauce in glass, a delicious pepper offer. The friendly, open-ended meetings are a l e r service staff in the house."
