Opposite the room I stayed was a platform that opened onto another building. I didn't dare sleep with it on at night and there was no air conditioning in the room."

"I wished a double room for individual cottage and had a large double room. The hotel is central in Burghausen, the "Citizen House" is 200 m and also the university. In the immediate vicinity is a variety of shops. The rooms are clean and tastefully furnished. It is quiet. The bed is comfortable. Small deficiencies I see in the bathroom: there is no washing vapour. The shaving level is unlighted and therefore the face is in the shadow. There is no shower but a bathtub in which you can douche. The entrance is relatively high. The floor of the bathtub is sharp. The radius of the handbrush is hardly stopped by a glass wall, so flooding on the ground. The handbrush is not adjustable."

"We were recently guests in this youth hostel as a classroom. While the building itself and the extensive garden are really beautiful and attractive, the stay was unfortunately a great disappointment because of the house management. The manager was very shocking to us. The children were shocked several times. One example of the lack of structure: first, children were allowed to enter the dining room with street shoes. When this resulted in – expected – some dirt, the manager reacted completely disproportionately, futhed with a besen around us and tried to expose us to the group. Even at the departure, a child was cried only because a bag was stopped for a short time in the course. Price-performance ratio We felt the price-performance ratio as absolutely inappropriate: Food: The meals were very simple. On the lunch there were only nuts with tomato sauce, evening rice with Asian cold vegetables, which was hardly worth the children. We expected much more quality for the price paid. The warehouse fire package: This was almost a shame. For about 8 wooden sheets and only 30 marshmallows (for 48 people!) were calculated € 4.50 per person. At demand, the guilt was put on the colleagues instead of taking responsibility."

"Burghausen is one of Bavaria’s most charming towns, its centre set below a spectacular long castle. And you can have the fun of walking from the central square across the adjacent Salzach River into Austria and being back in ten minutes. Having enjoyed lunch on the shaded terrace of this hotel’s restaurant in 2020, we returned to stay at the hotel three years later. We had comfortable, huge rooms facing the town’s quiet central square. Terrific buffet breakfast. And on a Saturday night, there was no issue parking. Very reasonable prices - we paid €119 for two. The lady in charge was very friendly."
