Check-in was smooth, the room was spacious and spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast offered a good variety of options and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. The location is convenient with ample parking and easy access to local attractions. Overall, a great stay."

"stayed here for 2 nights the room was clean and comfortable ,this hotel not have air con so would have been very hot in the recent heatwaves ,also they have done away with the onsite pub ,looked at the menu before hand online there wasn't anything i wanted plus there were no prices ,at the hotel there's a menu in the room ,very very expensive ,as a solo traveller this isn't good,looks like premier inn are only interested in corporate customers not the normal man in the street for this reason may not go back"

"7 of us ate at the Forest on Sunday. Service was friendly, polite, and food was excellent. We were all impressed. One of our group had the roast chicken which was lovely but a very large portion. Others would have liked to have ordered the chicken but felt it was just too much to manage. We felt it would have been better planing to have offered a smaller size or even sliced but to include the stuffing too instead of that being an extra priced additional item. Yorkshire were huge and very tasty. I had the pork which was tender and tasty. We couldn't fault what we had. Thank you. However, we felt that the service for drinks was so slow and could almost be classed as non existent. With some of our drinks not even turning up. So we had to chase after staff. It was also a shame that my 94 year old Mum was unable to enjoy a drink with us as everything she asked for wasn't available. ... sweet sherry, cinzano and lemonade, babysham, sweet wine. So whilst we were doing everything to include her we were unsuccessful. Ended up asking for a half of shandy and a pint turned up which was not suitable for several reasons including ability to manage the weight of the glass and enjoy her drink. We had to get it poured into half pint glass. We appreciated the fact the menu offered mini sized desserts, however the choice of these was limited to about 3 I think including ice cream and Portuguese tart. It would of been nicer to be able to just have small sizes of all the other lovely puddings available. Our biggest bug bearer was how loud the music was which was quite intrusive into our ability to chat across a fairly large table and once again keep Mum involved in the conversation and experience. It did seem to be a little quieter towards the end of our meal. We all enjoyed our meal and said we would return. Thank you. "
