"⭐⭐⭐☆☆ We stayed for my daughter’s birthday sleepover (2 adults, 5 kids), and while there were some wonderful highlights, the service inconsistencies impacted the overall experience. The positives first: The two-king suite (once we were placed correctly) was clean, spacious, and ideal for a group celebration. Extra bedding and a cot were provided, which allowed us to connect the two king beds for a full slumber-party setup — the girls absolutely loved it. The pocket door separating the sofa bed from the bedroom added valuable privacy. The pool with the slide was a huge hit, the jacuzzi added a spa-like touch, and the gym was a bonus (the girls loved the treadmill and spin bike). Karaoke on the living room TV and a Disney movie in the bedroom made the night special. Breakfast the next morning was impressive — eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, cereals, fresh fruit, juices, coffee — a full spread that wrapped up the celebration beautifully. Where things fell short: I had requested early check-in (1 PM) to decorate but was only accommodated for 3 PM. Upon arrival, we were placed in a one-king suite instead of the two-king suite I had booked in early January. When I inquired, I was given multiple explanations: unavailable, smells, under reservation, both suites unavailable. Yet when I asked to see one, I was shown a suite that matched my booking and did not present the concerns described. We were ultimately placed in a room directly in front of the elevators (contrary to my request), which was noisy at night. Additional inconveniences followed: • Mini fridge instead of full-size (difficult for cake, drinks, sushi, ice cream). • Bedroom TV could not connect to WiFi due to renovations; I had to drive home to retrieve my own Chromecast. • No towels stocked at the pool. • Had to locate cleaning staff myself to borrow a broom. • Elevator out of service at checkout; luggage carried down three flights of stairs with no assistance offered beyond apologies. Individually, these may seem minor. Collectively — especially after advocating for the originally booked suite — they created an experience that felt unnecessarily complicated. This property has excellent amenities and strong potential. With more proactive communication, consistent follow-through, and a service approach that anticipates guest needs rather than reacts to them, the experience could easily match the standard I’ve experienced at other Best Western locations. We made beautiful memories — I just wish the service had supported the celebration as smoothly as the amenities did."

"A good hotel for a rest stop during a trip to Eastern Canada. Clean, quiet, and suitable for a rest stop. The only downside is that it does not provide breakfast, so you have to find a place to eat breakfast early in the morning."
