"The service was good, but we only had one cup for two days in the triple room we booked, and the staff didn't notice it. We asked the front desk and got another one. The charging port was not very useful. The breakfast was rich and good. The balcony was big, which was good, but there were only two chairs for three people on the balcony, and I hope they can add one more."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Il Nuovo Gabbiano. The location is fantastic, right next to the port and in the centre of everything. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away! The view from the balcony was incredible with stunning views of the sea and mountains. Despite it being right next to the port, noise was minimal. Breakfast was extra at €14pp each day however we chose to buy juice and pastries from the nearby supermarket to have out on the balcony every morning. The room was fairly big and contained a mini bar (only containing bottles of water) and coffee/tea making facilities. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. There’s no parking, however we parked in the port across the road for €6 per day. We came later in the day so we managed to find a spot, it gets quite packed early morning. The hotel restaurant does great food, I would recommend the Sardinian ravioli with potatoes and cheese!"

"Perfectly located hotel at the shores in the center of the town. We always found free parking in the surrounding streets. Dinners were truly amazing, under the shade of the trees our butler made us feel special. Every evening was an experience on itself."

"Great location and facilities nearby. You can park the car even in front of the hotel, on the blue line, 8 euro for 24 hours. We had a room in the attic, not so big, but cozy and all what you need for 2 persons. Good breakfast. The hotel had its own Gelateria and Restaurant. Definitely I recommend this hotel."

"This was my second stay at I Ginepri. I first visited exactly two years earlier and by this visit, they had done further renovations. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were all kind and friendly. The location couldn’t be more perfect!!! Plenty of parking. During both stays I was in fully renovated rooms with new furnishings and beautifully appointed, fresh/clean bathrooms. Breakfast was a typically European continental, buffet style situation. It’s not fantastic, or showy. Just simple: a lot of cakes and pastries….could use more fruit and veg. My only complaint (and it’s more about me than them)…. I’m a solo traveler and was given a “classic room”. Which to my surprise was a tiny triangular shaped room with a little single bed. It reminded me of my uni dorm room. I’m a big man…middle aged, and not used to such a small bed. Just because I’m single doesn’t mean I’m happy with a room literally built for one. I seemed to be the only single guy there…all were couples of all ages….so it makes sense that this was the room I was given. I would have preferred to choose a room with an adult sized bed. Still, it had a great balcony which I used quite a bit, and all in all, the room did its job. As someone else pointed out, sound transference is terrible. Don’t fart…the neighbors will know about it. But I would definitely stay here a third time…I’d just ask to be sure to have a room with a larger bed. I trust this place. And I like it there, very much."

"The room was beautiful, the hotel lobby was lovely, and the rooftop restaurant was a pleasant place to have a drink. The rooftop Jacuzzi was also quite interesting, and there was a cold shower next to it. The hotel helped me book a taxi to Olbia port; it was a large van that could seat many people (I think at least 8), and it cost €140. It would have been better if there were more people to share the fare."

"We visited Brancamaria in 2021 and 2025. We had a very pleasant stay and would like to warmly thank all the staff for their kindness and professionalism — everyone was welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. We especially appreciated the amazing swimming pool, which was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We only had lunch and dinner at the hotel, and while the food was generally good, the highlight of our experience was definitely the hospitality and the relaxing environment. The best in Cala Gonone is that you can have amazing beaches with "aqua venere" at only a few kilometres from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for single, adults only and for families with kids ! We look forward to coming back!"
