"Cute beach get-away, an hour from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. Beautiful beaches 1 minute walking distance away and a wonderful rooftop lounge and pool bar. The breakfast is extremely generous. The room was amazing! Super clean and beautiful and bright."

"The hotel is functional but I would not consider it a four star hotel. The food was lacking variety. The breakfast food was cleared away before the end of the breakfast session every morning. There are extremely limited afternoon snacks comprising sandwiches and fruit in a single refrigerator in the restaurant which was not immediately obvious. The pool was freezing. We paid for a Late checkout but the AI ended at noon, which was unexpected given that we arrived in the early hours of our first ‘nights accommodation and AI’. On the plus side, the staff are friendly, the bar and pool area was inviting. The evening entertainment was ok albeit it only catered towards the Spanish. The locality to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops is good, being 5-10 minute walk"

"We had a lovely 6 days at the Bon Repos. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely and it was only a 5/10 minute walk to the beach. It was in a quieter area of Calella, which we liked and a 5/10 minute walk to the main shopping area. We were all inclusive. The food was great and we were able to heat our meals with the microwave. Maids did a brilliant job. Great value for money."

"We had a rocky start with this hotel, we arrived at 3am in the morning, much later than we had hoped due to numerous delays at the airport. When we went to check in, the hotel had given our rooms to another family who had checked in an hour or two before, they had booked and paid but had no reservation on the system (we had both booked through Love Holidays). The receptionist then went away for 10 minutes to rectify the issue to come back closely followed by the poor family he had kicked out of our rooms!!!! In the end we got into our rooms and the other family were found new rooms after quite a bit of a wait, however we were very shocked at how it was dealt with and feel it could have been handled differently. I would advise if you have a late flight and or have any delays, call the hotel and let them know you are on your way! Rooms are nice enough, quite small and cramped and there is obvious wear and tear throughout the hotel but the hotel and rooms were cleaned to a good standard and fresh towels and bedding provided daily. Our view from the balcony was at the back of the hotel, if you looked down you did have a view of the back road, a car park and some bins, however straight in front of you was a view of some of the most beautiful hills, I have added the pics for reference. Food was hit and miss and repetitive most days but that is the risk you take at an All Inclusive hotel even if it is 4 stars. We were all able to eat something every day, however, if we had been there for 7 nights or more we would have eaten out a few times too! The only time we had to queue for the restaurant was when we were there before it had actually opened, other than that we were able to get a table easily. There is some queuing for the freshly cooked food such as some of the meat, fish, eggs ect but that’s due to being a popular choice and high demand. Drinks also typical of an All Inclusive hotel, small cups and alcohol watered down but plenty of options. You can also pay for proper cocktails ect if you wanted to. The staff were friendly, and happy enough to re-activate our key cards when we had deactivated them accidentally by keeping them by our mobile phones! It happened a few times too. There are 3 pools at the hotel as well as some water slides, with lots of stairs, but there are lifts to access the splash pool at the bottom and the main middle pool which is a little small. The splash pool was a lot of fun for the kids, just be aware, due to the height of the hotel, the sun does disappear behind the building mid afternoon so you will be left in the shade, there was also plenty of sun beds. The splash pool area could be quite slippy at times however as long you are careful, as you would around all pools and don’t let the kids run around (it happened often) then you will be fine. Entertainment wasn’t great unfortunately, the stage is small and cramped in an area of the bar indoors where view is restricted unless sat right in front, it could do with being "
