"This hotel has no air conditioning. The room was unbearably hot with only a table fan. Do not stay here in the summer! I've never known anything like it. I've had to stay here 6 nights all 4 of us as a family my 2 children and husband and we are all sleep deprived from the heat the rooms get up to , it's been awful! If it's over 24 outside do not stay here! I've never known a room to heat up so much! I've lived in Cyprus so I know heat pritty well!!! Absolutely terrible."

"I was on the 3rd floor and wow was it noisy with traffic. Very poor noise isolation from the window. Not only was the road noise terrible until about 0030 but that’s not all…at about 4am to 5am then continuing the staff must also live on this floor at room 301 end as they don’t have respect for people sleeping and let the doors slam closed and transferred a trolley of cups or similar as they are banging together!! Breakfast was as per travelodge. In summary if you get a room on the main road then refuse it, you won’t get much sleep!!"

"When we arrived the car park was nearly empty and we thought we had arrived at the wrong place, also there were no signs saying Reception! We eventually found the reception and thought the greeting was a bit frosty. We checked into our exec room which was excellent and looked out over the lake. The location is great for walks along the canal and there are several nice pubs within walking distance. Breakfast was basic but was cooked well and kept hot. We would return again."
