"The room is quite clean and spacious with a microwave oven and coffee machine. We like breakfast, which has enough choices for us. The location is great, and there are a number of restaurants around. The staff team is helpful and friendly."

"The hotel is located right on the main road along the sea. This hotel has the best view of the beach. We got upgraded to a king room and we were amazed by the sea view with private balcony. Greeted by the front desk manager Harlen and his hospitality was excellent. The check-in was quick and smooth. The room was ready in time and we were so happy with the room facilities. It was renovated 2 years ago and everything has remained in good condition. We love the big TV right in front of the work desk and our bed. 

There are 7 floors in the hotel, and the lift only works between the 2nd to 4th floor. The lobby is at 5th floor, meaning that you have to carry your belongings up or down the stairs in the main building. Or drive your car down the slope to the 2nd floor after check-in. There was a comedy show on that Friday evening at 8 (CAD$35). Hotel pool was closed due to renovation, and we only accessed the laundry room which it costs CAD$4 for washing with laundry detergent and free drying. 

Campbell River is suitable for a short stay to get your stamina recovered. We got very good quality of sleep, as the mattress was firm and supportive. And we also love the environmental noises like the sounds of sea waves and the birds here during the summer day. 

The hotel also provided free breakfast buffet. As we expected, there were sausages, breakfast potatoes, scramble eggs, cereal and waffles with apple & orange juice and coffee and tea. As we walked in, we were told to order the breakfast from the menu with 30% off. Only after we mentioned that we were here for the free buffet, she seemed not happy saying that the buffet only offered limited options as you can see in that corner. We were standing at least 15 metres away from the breakfast corner. It sounds like we shouldn’t go for the breakfast buffet, not even have a look at what options there were. I gave high rating of the service of the front desk and cleaners, but the server in the restaurant. We’d love to come back again because of the view, location and the hospitality were excellent. We also got helps from the front desk to book another two hotels in different towns, where there is no room left in the town. That’s very helpful and released our stress for getting the accommodation."
