"The hotel is in a great location! Downtown is in front and the strait is across the street behind. Just a stone's throw away from the Ferry Terminal! It is only a 10-minute drive from the famous 50th North Latitude Monument! The hotel is quiet in a busy area and the breakfast is good. Front desk service is good! The staff is very nice ! Campbell River is a coastal town located north of 50 degrees north latitude. Warm, quiet and livable! My friend and I are both female seniors in our 70s and 80s. We didn’t drive, but took public transportation from Vancouver to come here. We originally only wanted to check in at the 50th parallel north boundary marker… After a short break at the Campbell River Comfort Inn, we will head to a smaller island ~ Quadra Island!"
